Questions & Answers

Is there a visor clip on this opener?

Yes, there was a standard sun-protection device included. For traditional mounting, there is a visor clip.

Is it compatible with Sears garage door openers?

I ordered two 950CD remote controls and received two 371LM remote controls, both of which are defective. They only work with openers that have the "smart learn" button, which my opener does not have (model 248730). I'm not sure how I'm going to do this.

A lift master 1/3 hp is what I have. 41a4252 is a part number that can be found on a lot of different I have a green button that says "Learn." while doing this work from home?

No, that unit will not work. These are the correct units, but some are out of stock - 83LM (Three-Fourth-Fifth-Fifth-Fifth a remote control with buttons) - 82LM (Two-Hundred and Eighty-Five Minutes) a remote control with buttons) - 81LM (One-Hundred-and-Twenty-One-H a remote control with buttons) - This is a newer replacement, but programming is more difficult; however, instructions are included in the box. a remote control with buttons) - 890MAX (Mini-) (Mini-) (Mini-) (Mini- Remote (on a key ring) - (Three-digit) 893MAX (Three-digit) 893MAX (Thre a remote control with buttons) - I hope this information is useful.

This is compatible with openers that have a purple program bottom

It was simple to program. The purple square programming bottom on the back of my LiftMaster 1/2 HP garage door opener. As seen in the illustration.

I bought the wrong item
3/5

This item appealed to me because it was a lift master remote control, and I already own a lift master garage door opener. When I couldn't get it to sync, I looked at the directions and realized I was using the wrong opener. There was never any indication that I needed to sync it with a specific color-coded key. The only thing mentioned in the ad was that the model matched my garage door opener. When I tried to return it, it was not in good condition. I received the ra as well as an email informing me that I would be required to pay $5. 00 for shipping and 15% restocking fee I figured oh well my loss I figured oh well my loss I figured oh well my loss I figured oh well my loss When I went to UPS to return it, it cost me $10. It will cost you $95 to return it. That would have been more than the cost of the remote control. Thank you, but no thanks. Customer service that is substandard.

Exceptional Value - It only takes 60 seconds to program! Battery and Visor Clip are included in the package
5/5

My son's new car required the Liftmaster 371LM, which I purchased for him. It doesn't get any easier than this! I have a PURPLE learning button on my Liftmaster opener. br>br>Programing Instructions (less than 60 seconds):
1. ) Slide the provided visor clip into the groove on the back of the remote.
2. ) To access the PURPLE programming button, open the panel on the back of the garage door motor.
3. ) With one hand holding the remote, press and release the PURPLE programming ONCE. When the light starts flashing, it means it's time to take action.
4. ) Press and hold the garage door opener's button with your other hand until it opens. Release the remote control once it has opened.
5. ) The remote has been programmed, and all of your other remote controls will continue to function normally. br>br>The remote includes a battery, which is a pair of flat ECR2032 batteries. These are the same batteries that are used in many other remotes, including the Apple TV remote, so they are easy to come by and reasonably priced. br>br>Like most Amazon customers, I rely on unbiased reviews. I hope you found this review to be useful in making your purchase.

The item description is extremely deceptive
3/5

When buying a garage door remote, this product made it sound like the color of your learn/smart button is all you need to know. br>In reality, it's a matter of age. br>My liftmaster garage door is from 1993, so it's not compatible with this remote, despite the fact that it has a purple button. Instead, I went out and purchased a Chamberlain Universal 2-in-1. It's a two-button garage door opener that works flawlessly. br>I don't usually give a one-star review for something that is partially my fault, but I believe this product's description was purposefully deceptive. br>And when I tried to return this product, which was practically new, the seller (365 garage door parts) insisted on charging me for shipping ($4). 50) and a restocking fee (roughly $6). br>Overall, be cautious, do your research, and if at all possible, avoid buying from a seller who charges you a restocking fee just to return the item to their warehouse. Thank you very much! br>br>br>br>br>br>b.

It's very simple to program
5/5

My condo is rented, and I believe a previous tenant misplaced the garage remote, which the landlord failed to replace. I decided I could spend $22 to make my life a little easier when parking in the garage (it has a keypad, so I'd have to jump out and open it when arriving or leaving in the car). After doing some research on which remotes work with which color buttons on the Liftmaster door opener, I decided this was the one I needed (purple button). And since the condos were built in 2006, I figured it was around that time). It took longer to open the ladder in order to reach the door opener's button than it did to program this remote! This is something I should have done when I first moved in last year.

For my garage door opener, this is an excellent OEM remote
5/5

It's ideal for use as an extra remote or as a backup. For my Chamberlain Access Master garage door opener, I needed a new garage door opener remote. I looked up the model number on the back of my existing remotes and found the same model 371LM on Amazon. I was wondering if I needed to purchase a remote battery, but to my surprise, the remote came equipped with one. The garage door opener was programmed to accept this remote in less than two seconds. I'm very pleased with it, and I'm considering purchasing another as a backup. br>br>LIKESbr>Easy to pair with my Chamberlain Access Master garage door opener (took less than 2 seconds)br>Battery included! DISLIKESbr>So far, there have been none. It goes well with the other remote controls.

315- Original McCoy (MHz) — Compatible with the Liftmaster 312HM Universal Coaxial Receiver
5/5

The couple (my friends) misplaced or lost their remote, and with the house about to go on the market, it's so nice to get the sliding gate opener working after I figured out how to link the remote with the previously installed Liftmaster coaxial antenna receiver (model 312HM @ 315MHz frequency, as stated). I had to open the receiver (again, thanks to information I found online) and then press the black "learn" button and then the remote to get the gate to move again! —bringing a smile to the couple's lips. In short, it took me much longer to research, reprogram, and get the whole thing working again (it's an Apollo 7000ETL gate operator unit with a Liftmaster receiver) than it should have if I'd been an expert—or if I'd known from the start that it was just a 12v battery gone bad from not being charged due to the circuit breaker being tripped and staying that way for years (I removed the GFCI receptacle inside the unit, replaced it protected by a breaker As an electrician, I believe that two GFCI devices on the dedicated circuit may have caused the breaker to trip frequently in the past, but we'll see what happens once we get a new battery (my jumped car battery sufficed for troubleshooting) and resume normal operation). The remote is excellent! br>br> I'm hoping the "Lithium Manganese Dioxide" battery in it lasts a long time—in a year or less, I'll swing by and check with the new owner/s of the house.
