When I first got my hands on them, they were kicking arse. It wasn't a problem for them to work from afar, they were compact and lightweight, and they did a great job. They worked for a couple of weeks, but stopped working after that unless they were very close and pointed directly at the door I thought replacing the batteries would help, but it didn't. The liftmasters stopped working altogether after two months, and I had to pay the $45 I should have paid in the first place to get new ones. The things are cheap because they're made cheap, and what you get is I barely do.

These keys work great for an older transmitter and they are cheaper than Chamberlain remotes, everything is solidly constructed and the buttons are easy to press, plus, the covers slide smoothly. To be honest, I wasn't expecting these to last and for $8 each you would expect as much too. Thank you for a great product on Amazon. I am placing a bunch more orders. Solving through all the crap people call remotes is hard, but I am very satisfied with my purchase, and if I was you I would charge $30 a piece so yes, it is a bargain.

The one I've been using for a little over 4 months now has been ordered just a few days after buying my new house. For three months, they worked great Initially, intermittent behavior was observed for 4 weeks. switching them out, they worked well for a few more weeks, and now it's back to working sometimes and not working other times.
