Because most garage doors only have five hinges on each side, they only come in a set of ten.
I can't speak for the $13 rollers, but the XiKe rollers were significantly quieter than the factory rollers on my door.
In fact, the track is 2 inches wide, so 2 inches is a nominal size. The rollers have a diameter of 1 7/8 inches. They're simple to put together and much quieter than my old, worn-out metal rollers.
The rollers are identical to those on our garage door. The diameter is two inches. br> The new rollers were a perfect match and made a significant difference in the noise level of the door when it was raised or lowered.

I replaced my 17-year-old metal rollers with these XiKe nylon rollers for $20 and under 30 minutes of installation time, and I'm very pleased with the results. These rollers are far superior to the $180 tax rollers installed by the garage door company on my other door. The ball bearings are encased in a protective casing. If you use a power tool, the installation is very simple. I started by replacing ten of them with the door shut. You must open the garage door before unscrewing the bolts on the two bottom ones because the cables coming down from the spring are attached to them, and opening the garage door relieves the tension. In the video clip attached, you can hear the difference in sound.
I bought these about a month ago and am very pleased with my purchase. I received high-quality rollers with high-quality bearings. I gave it a five-star rating and proceeded to order two more sets. The two extra sets arrived today, and they are nothing like the original order. Bearing rollers that are of poor quality, difficult to rotate, and exposed. XiKe USA completed the first order, while La Petales completed the second. I believe you should avoid ordering from La Patales because they appear to be shipping a counterfeit product. br>br>This was my original review. br>These arrived quickly and are exactly as shown in the photos. Bearings are sealed, and the rollers are black nylon. I like and appreciate the fact that they come in a 12-pack because I need 12 for each door. Some of the opponents come in ten packs.
Thank you for your time. By simply unscrewing each hinge from the door, I was able to replace all but the bottom rollers. Then I opened the door all the way and unscrewed the roller bracket for the bottom ones - Because the spring roller's cables are attached to these brackets, you must do it with the door up. If you do it with the door down, you will be injured and may damage something. br>br>All of the rattling and screeching from the door movement was silenced by the rollers on their own. The rubber damper blocks significantly reduced the amount of noise and vibration that was transferred into the room above the garage - When someone opens or closes the garage door, the items on my desk no longer vibrate! br>br>Recent changes - From 5 to 2 stars, I'm downgrading. The rollers are still smooth and quiet, but one of the rubber dampers has broken, causing the opener to hang at an odd angle - It had the potential to be extremely hazardous! Thankfully, I noticed it before anyone attempted to open or close the garage, which could have resulted in property damage. Original nuts were reinstalled. bolts. It's no longer as quiet upstairs, but at least I know the opener won't fall out of the ceiling!.
The best garage door roller on the market for commercial use. 100,000 cycles, which should last a lifetime. br>"NOT" made in the United States. According to my research, they are designed in the United States. Made in China with a Made in USA (Japan) label. Clearly, this is a marketing ploy. If you're looking for the best garage door roller on the market, you've come to the right place. These should be bought. If you want something that is 100% made in the United States of America (U. S. A. ), this is the place to go. A,) Take a look somewhere else.
It took me about an hour to complete these. It takes 5 hours to set up. Overall, I'm happy with the quality and simplicity of the installation. br>br>Neither the rollers nor the vibration isolators came with any instructions. I looked for videos that were similar to my installation on YouTube. br>br>As a bonus, I had two extra rollers. It took only ten rollers to install a garage door. I also avoided using the vibration isolaters after reading that the rubber disintegrates and the bolts shear off in another review. br>br>Installation will take place on May 2nd, 2020.
The reduction of noise was my main motivation for replacing my old steel rollers. They were not defective mechanically; they were simply too loud. My garage door leads to my workshop, and it's been there for 15 years. 20 years. Because the motor had failed and needed to be replaced, I decided to replace both the rollers and the motor. My old motor was a chain drive, which I kept, so the noise reduction is entirely due to the new nylon rollers. I don't have any way of measuring the difference, but my ears detect a significant reduction in noise, which I estimate to be at least 50%, if not more. I'm very happy with it and wish I'd done it years ago, but I'm a slow learner who only recently discovered nylon rollers. It was a breeze to put everything together. Simply watch a few YouTube videos until you find a method that appeals to you, then implement it. It took me about 30 minutes to replace 12 rollers. When I open the garage door, I don't have to brace myself as much.
I wish I had done this from the beginning. I took out the cheap junk that came with the garage door and replaced it. The doors are fine, and they're made in the United States as well, but the roller fell short of even the most basic performance expectations. It's important to remember that a low-cost roller only benefits the seller. A garage door opener relies on power to overcome weight and friction, which means that if the rollers are anything like mine, a significant increase in electricity is required to overcome friction. I have direct drive garage door openers, and the new rollers have reduced the AMP draw by two-thirds.
Our garage door had become extremely noisy in the 13 years since it was installed, despite proper and routine maintenance. br>br>The original (cheap) rollers were simply old and worn-out - To be honest, they were about 5 years past their prime. br>br>I did my own installation (there are a TON of great/easy-to-follow YouTube videos from PROFESSIONALS) and saved between $130 and $150 vs. what the garage door companies in your area were looking for. br>br>This is NOT a difficult problem to solve. I would have done it YEARS ago if I had known how simple it was.
