Lags of good quality and at a great price. I tend to rotate the head here and there, and usually it's due to my fault. If two or more times are happening, contact me as soon as possible. If you notice 5% of your design twisting off at the head, you'd best look at your technique before reporting the company to the FDA. If possible, make sure your pilot hole is at least 1/2 inch larger than the seated depth of your screws. A pilot with a slightly larger diameter may be needed for certain materials. Installing in standard 2x4, 2x6 and other lumber with an impact driver. I have enemies among my neighbors. I would recommend incorporating a hand ratchet and a drill/driver , respectively, if it is necessary to tighten or remove these lags. In the event that the lag is subsequently snapped with an impact tool, it could sound more like the first one.
If you do this consistently, you will decrease the number of twists you lose and you will not be tearing your wood up.
Good value for the money.
They are very difficult to start up because the tip is so rounded and dull compared to other brands.
I can live with that -- The quality of a box store. Nevertheless, they are 1/3 the price so you might as well buy unless you need to build the space shuttle or something where you must comply with strength and tolerance.
These lag screws are meant to be used when you need to screw a piece of equipment correctly.
