This heavy duty wood screw has a hex bolt head on both sides

The threads of the wood screw are deep and the nut is not provided

They are primarily used in deck building and other applications in which normal wood screws are insufficient.

The pilot hole must be drilled before it can be installed, and the socket tool or wrench must be used to install it

Is it possible to screw treated 5/4x6 boards to 2x4 stakes without them separating from the stakes? want no material to show on the 2x4 outside the frame. ?

Because the screws are 3" long, you may want to use screws that are shorter.
