A 2" OD stainless steel pipe has an outer diameter of 186 mm. Railings are designed to attach to 10x10 posts for decks. What are the chances of these getting If so, what is the best way to do it. ?

Attachments to posts like these are very attractive to me. The pickets on my fence were stained and I painted on top of I did not really try too hard when I stained it, so I think paint should work well there as well

Would a 1 7/8 inch fence post work with a 1 5/8 inch galvanized fence post? I have a 1 5/8 inch fence ?

The quality of Simpson is not what it should be

If this is a Simpson product rather than a knockoff, it's hard to believe Currently offline. It was so easy to get a tap and die set from the store so I could tap and die all four of the threaded holes on the Grip Ties I purchased The threads need to be cut. Simpson products have always been of the highest quality, and I have used several of them A tie like this would be useless for people who could not re-wrap it Embedding the metal with machined parts.

In the Canopy project

My barn's lean-to canopy structure used it to offset my 1 3/8 fence rails for the fence. They seem to last a long time. They are a bit thicker than I expected.
