Is there any way to straighten a twisted gate with this?

I was blown away by how well the true latch 8' gate brace functioned on my gates. I have 5'8" gates that I recently built out of treated 2x4s that were still damp, making my gate pieces quite heavy. The brace was FABULOUS and did the job perfectly. I would buy another one of these without hesitation.

Is this something that can be used to straighten a twisted gate?

I'd have to say no, and this is solely based on my experience with the product: I installed The True Latch on my newly re-installed gates. built, and they did an excellent job of eliminating the sag in large gates that are common. I don't believe the True Latch will fix your twisted gate, but I would recommend making some minor repairs to the gate before installing the product.

Is it possible to use it with a gate that needs to be adjusted?

Yes, Robert,br>br>it should work well with the Adjust-a-Way. Kit for building a gate I've gone over the adjust-a-seat photos several times. You should be able to fit the gate kit into both the top and bottom 2x4 wood horizontal runners. There would be no need for the cable at that point. However, if your gate is only two rails, with a top 2x4 and a bottom 2x4, you won't be able to use the center bracket that comes with the True Latch brace. It isn't required, but it does help to keep the gate in place. br>br>Adjust-a-Adjust-a-Adjust-a-Adjust-a-Adjust-a- The gate is available in two different mounting options: two rail and three rail. If your gate only has two rails, you can easily add a middle 2x4 rail by cutting it to length and nailing or screwing it through the pickets on the front side. The center bracket that we provide can then be attached. On a 5' or 6' tall gate, I would definitely recommend having three rails, as the gap between the top and bottom rails becomes too wide, and pickets can easily be broken or compromised without the additional support of the middle rail. I built a perfect 8 foot gate in 5 hours the first time I attempted to do so without this, and it was a complete failure

Using the gate brace, I was able to install a perfect 8-foot gate in just 5 hours. Simply place the 2x4 on the ground and secure it with a brace. Then it was lifted onto the hinges and put in place. To prevent sway and better align the 2x4 with the latch side, I put a 1x4 down the latch side. That was the end of the conversation. I didn't think to take a picture, but I'll do so later.

Because these are outside, they should come with galvanized lag bolts. I also have pressure treated wood, so galvanized is a must.

It's simple to set up and use, and it's extremely effective! This gate brace is absolutely incredible! This large, heavy gate was installed by the fencing company I hired, and it has been sagging ever since

It was a real pain to physically lift it on and off the latch. I tried for five months to get them to come out and talk about it, but they refused. Finally, I made the decision to do it on my own. It only took me about 20 minutes, and my gate now opens and closes with ease! It is well worth the money, and I strongly suggest it!.

Don't waste your time, buy this first; this is the real deal

I had a large shadowbox gate that was severely sagging. It's extremely heavy. I attempted to save money by using a turnbuckle and cable to lift it. No way. The eye bolts were bent. The cable had gotten caught between the clamps. It was a complete waste of both time and money. This bad boy didn't even appear to be sweating. The gate is in good condition. It also has a great appearance, far superior to cables and clamps. I wish I had purchased this earlier. br>br>Pro tip: Before attempting to start the self-contained unit, drill a few small pilot holes. pounding the two pieces together with a hammer.
