Our Fairfield arbor has the columns between them on the inside. We measured that space for gate measurements and then found the arbor's width. In looking at an online photo of a Vienna arbor, I found that the interior space between the columns is 42". Measurement of the gate we bought is 48 inches. The Vienna arbor is no longer 5", so it is unlikely it will fit unless you have a different sized I wish you the best of
I do not believe they can be cut from below since they are molded and set. If you wanted to cut them from below, it might be possible, but it would be so troublesome
I cannot use it as I have a New England arbor that is too large. There is no way I can use the latch kit you

When your needs cannot be satisfied by the supplied hinges, go to your local hardware store for hinges. Make sure you follow the installation instructions so you don't damage the gate. It is suggested to drill using the supplied instructions while maintaining the integrity of the material.
We chose this gate because it is a perfect match for the arbor we bought As I noticed the gate was meant for a larger area, I decided to order a different arbor it turned out to look amazing. Those were the results we got, and we were happy with them.
The only reason I bought this was the appearance since other reviews mentioned that it is held together only with plastic tapping screws. In reading over the instructions, I agreed that this would likely be an issue down the road with the screws pulling out of the plastics, so I ignored most of the instructions entirely and used stainless screws and nuts, drilling my own holes through the posts after aligning with the upper and lower rails. (Though I don't think I'll fabricate wood blocks, like I read in one review)
For what I pay for a $279 plastic gate, I shouldn't have to install wood blocks. It should be engineered and additional hardware should be supplied. It is way too heavy duty for the weight of this gate since these hinges cannot handle that sort of load. For the same amount of money, the gate itself would have been better if the hinges in the package were cheaper and the assembly was more sturdy. The end result was that I assembled and installed the gate successfully, and it looks nice. But I have to give myself the credit for being able to improvise, and I think it is overpriced considering that it is basically made out of one piece of plastic and poorly designed. The instructions for assembly can be found here.
Using self-tapping screws and vinyl, the flange is held together. The first time I set it up, all of the screws came out of the plastic. If I do this, I will have to replace the screws with long bolts and nuts. I haven't done this yet, perhaps I'll be able to fix the other problems.
All we didn't know is that we needed to purchase a 1 x 4 a piece of wood to place in the arbor post so that we could No problem at all, but we had to stop to pick one up. Except for that, it is a very nice gate and complements the arbor nicely.
I am very pleased with the gate. It works perfectly, worth the extra dollar. It is much better made than many others I have seen.
We found this gate rather flimsy and the latch.
To access the area around my pool, this gate is used.
