As long as you are not planning on welding directly onto your table, it is certainly not going to melt. The purpose of the table is simply to conduct the current into a separate area of weldable material, which does not produce heat on If you are welding layers of steel for long, sustained arc times, the inductive heat produced will not be enough to damage the tabletop, unless you are welding thick metals for quite a long time. If that is the case, then this interest might be fun You are unlikely to be satisfied with the table.
This is 35". This is one of my favourites. This is a very heavy duty product. It is thick enough for you to weld it then grind the pieces off once the welding is

The structure is simple to assemble, sturdy, and would be a pleasure to weld on. A layer of zinc is coating the steel above the welding surface, so the steel cannot be welded. The purpose of this was probably to prevent rust. As a result, welds are always hot, potentially red in color, and these can lead to catastrophic failures A hot day. Zinc vaporizes over time, so if you are not wearing a respirator, you could breathe in toxic fumes and get zinc poisoning. This is unpleasant at the very least and deadly at the very worst. The description of the unit or any documentation that came with it said nothing of this, so there was no easy way for consumers to learn about it. You might be able to use a table, and if you have good ventilation and a properly fitted respirator with the right kind of protection, then you may be able to use it. It may seem risky, but why?.
My only concern with the table is that it is not exactly the one I was looking for. During the construction of the table, no hardware was contained in the box. As a result, the table is basically a pile of junk until I can find hardware to make it work. My contact with the seller has been made in order to resolve the issue. The outcome of that will be seen. In the event the seller is able to resolve the issue and send the hardware, I will update this post. I am updating As soon as I contacted the manufacturer, the table hardware was sent to me. I received no backlash, was apologized to and received a shipment of the hardware I needed. The table is now good to go, and it does exactly what I need it to do.
There were only a few minor damages to the box. I was shocked to see one of the cross members had completely fallen down. It did not penetrate the angle iron due to the four welds. Angle irons used to sit on their undersides, which is where rusted underneath could be seen.
It was fine. I agree with others, the box was damaged when it arrived, but it worked perfectly fine. The only thing I did differently was raise the bottom shelf so I had a lip on which to place my welding equipment. This is a great deal and well worth the money. It will satisfy you completely.
Neither I nor my client have any Light welding is easily accomplished with this table, and it can also double as a rolling tool cart. It is sturdy and heavy enough to mount a small vice and drill press as well. I can imagine they can hold a decent amount of weight on these casters due to their high quality. The hardware was in good condition and was not damaged during assembly. This table would be a good fit for hobby welders looking for an easy to use, lightweight and portable work.
I really like this cart. It is thick enough so that even with clamps used in the 5/8" holes, the top does not give way. In the past, I have utilized the table for TIG, MIG, and Stick welds. You will be able to clamp the ground to the top once you have it clamped. There are heavy duty casters on the wheels that provide great mobility, particularly when you may want to weld outside. The overall quality is excellent. It is quite light but I have a lot of welding kit on the shelf along with many Thank you for letting me know. With the feel locked down, which it does on all four sides, the table is quite stable. Getting this tabe if you are on the fence but considering it is a good investment. In addition to the cost, the time involved to punch all the holes makes it totally worth the price. As long as you do not mind the galvanized top you can always make a sacrifice A chunk of 1/4" plate in the size of 12"x12" is the kind of surface I like to use for tacking things so I can do the horizontal practice. In any case, I do most of my welding on that.
There is a need for a spare soldering/welding table at work, and it has to be fast. I like the ease of assembly, the sturdy construction, and the fact it looks decent. However, I do not truly love the parts quality, but it serves the purpose admirably for the price. Even with the casters locked, the only drawback is the fact that it's so light it's easy to move with even just two hands, but that's not a big deal We couldn't ship it as Prime if that weren't the case.
Although this is a quality product and it is the second item I have purchased from this seller in the past 30 days, it appears to have been damaged upon arrival. As you can see, the shipping box was in perfect condition, so clearly there was a quality control issue. While Amazon has offered to send a replacement, it isn't worth the time and effort to pack and deliver the table to a UPS store because the damage is hardly noticeable.
