Yes, the package includes all necessary installation hardware, including bolts.

What is the width of the L-shaped bracket on which the bolts will be installed?

The side-to-side measurement of the bracket is 5 inches, and it is made of 1. 5 x 1. Angle iron, 5 in.

I see the rachet, but what is the purpose of the hook end? Is there another component that attaches to the rack on the opposite side? Chris, how are you?

The hook is reattached to the bar it was originally attached to in the packaging.

Is it possible to weld these?

Weldable to a tee. On the road, I have 26 trucks, each with four or more welded to it. Even after a rollover, I've never bolted one on or had one break off.

Ladder racks benefit greatly from these straps. A must-have for any truck that doesn't want to risk using a bungee cord. Over the years, I've seen many ladders fall off trucks and cause accidents because they don't use these great straps.

Installing it was a breeze

Before we bought these rack straps, the guys were securing their ladders with bungee cords. It's more dependable and simpler to use than a bungee cord. More will undoubtedly be ordered.

Some of these straps have lasted longer than two or three trucks. We simply transfer them from one truck to the next. I'm referring to a period of twenty years. I buy new ones when we don't have any that we can reuse. Don't squander your time on knockoffs.

Strapdowns for ladders, lumber, pipe, or anything else on your truck racks that are securely strong and quick. I'm sick of the nonsense with rope and bungee cords. These Rack-mountable Cabinets Straps are by far the most useful accessory.
