Questions & Answers

What is the total number of straps in the bag?

Each package comes with two straps. It was a three-package deal that I took. br>I've tried them out and they're great. These small ones have 6 to 8 inches of elastic material (which limits stretch) and the majority of the 42" length is non-elastic. Strap that is stretchy but adjustable.

Is there a set of two straps in a single package?

Yes. In the box, there are two straps.

This is referred to as a "two pack" on Amazon. Is it two (2) packs of 2-packs of 2-packs of 2-packs of 2-pack Is it better to buy a pack with four straps or a pack with two straps? Thanks?

There are only two straps inside this single pack. They're fantastic.

Do you think these would work well in an airline carry-on bag?

For airline luggage, they should work fine. Make sure the straps are long enough to wrap around the luggage completely.

THIS VERSION OF ROKSTRAP SHOULD NOT BE PURCHASED - WARNING: THIS IS AN EXTREMELY EXTREMELY E YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE IT BACK TO ME
3/5

I rarely give negative feedback, but this 12"- 42" is a dreadful size. My friend had the other rokstrap, which is thicker, longer, and much more effective. The buckles don't hold tension, they don't have a strong elastic force, and they don't snap well, so these are like a cheap dollar store toy. THE BUCKLES, ON THE OTHER HAND, DO NOT HOLD TENSION! Consider this scenario: you're driving down the highway, your seatbelts come undone, and your belongings vanish! br>DO NOTbr>PURCHASEbr>Thisbr>Version!.

It is well-made
4/5

For my Honda Shadow, I ordered the 42" straps to attach a gym bag and a lunch box to the seat and back rack. I think I should have ordered the 60" ones, but depending on where I attach them, I might be able to use these. I was worried that the longer ones would be too long. They are, however, exceptionally well constructed. The completed strap has loops on both sides that you can use to attach each side to a frame rail or other piece. Once both sides are attached, a snapping buckle is used to join them together. On one side, there's a lot of firm elastic to keep things nice and snug. The quality of these straps is excellent. I thought the cost of a pair of two complete straps was reasonable at just under 16 dollars. They are available in a wide range of colors and patterns. It's lovely.

Maintains the tightness and security of your cargo
5/5

It has loops on both ends! Awesome. br>It was my first time using it on a motorcycle camping trip, and it really helped keep my large duffel bag secure and in place. br>Although these worked well and I had no issues, the buckles and strap sizes appear to be a little small for larger, heavier loads. I wish they had a larger, more heavy-duty set.

Straps are fantastic! Each bike now has its own set of these, which are fantastic
5/5

We went on an overnight trip over the weekend. With more traditional straps on my bag, I used Rok straps to keep the soft cooler in place on the luggage rack. It's as if you're in the middle of the day and the middle of the night Normal bungee cords aren't very adjustable. br>br>While staying at a hotel, I went to get some take-out food. dinner on the town It's extremely difficult to use bungee cords to secure Styrofoam food containers to a bike without crushing them. Rok straps, on the other hand, can be adjusted to the perfect firmness for holding without crushing anything. They are, however, strong enough to resist breaking or stretching.

One of them had a malfunction
3/5

I had been using a dreadful cargo net and bungee cord combo for the past year, which was both inconvenient and embarrassing. I came across these and am very pleased with how simple, secure, and quick they are to use. Exceptional workbr>br>*Updated on June 14th, 2017. In less than two months, one of the straps gave way. The plastic clip and the inner elastic portion parted ways. Although the outer fabric sleeve remains attached, the strap is now useless. I did tend to tighten it very tightly because heavier items would shift if I didn't, but I never went over the recommended limit.

Ideal for a bicycle's rear rack
5/5

Normally, I would just use regular bungies, but with the bicycle, any given situation might necessitate a different length. That would require me to take up more space on the bike than I can afford, and since these are adjustable, keeping them in my saddlebag saves me a lot of trouble. I've carried everything from a pizza to a large metal barber case that weighed at least 20 pounds. 30lbs! br>What I liked best about them was how well they held up in use. All too often, I'll buy something, fall in love with it, and then have it fall apart due to shoddy construction. Lol. These don't apply here.

This is a must have! Other wr250r owners and users in the Facebook group recommended these straps to me
5/5

These are incredible. I had to buy these again because my previous set was accidentally broken when the strap became tangled in my wheel spokes and broke. It was my fault; I forgot to tighten them before the ride. I'm concerned that if the bike or straps are left in the sun for days or months at a time, the plastic clips will wear out or become fragile, but I now have a shady spot to park my bike! I strongly advise using these straps to secure ANY cargo!.

As advertised, it worked perfectly
4/5

For a 9-day, 2100-mile motorcycle trip, I used the straps on a rear seat bag. It was a great success. The quality of the straps appears to be excellent. I didn't realize they were so narrow (though the description says 5/8" so it's my fault). My only concern is the buckles are small, and I'm worried about the plastic breaking, but they held up well and hopefully are made of a higher quality plastic/polymer that will last the test of time. I'd recommend them.
