There Will Be No Cranking Any Longer! I just bought it, but not through Amazon (which is unusual for me!)
5/5

I took out the manual jack, bolted this in place, cut and stripped the fuse link wire to butt connect to the black lead, crimped on the ring connector, hooked it up, and voila! In another review, someone mentioned not making ground without first removing the paint. Check the instructions; there is one mounting hole that has been covered with black tape and has bare metal beneath it that you'll need to remove in order to make ground. Use the star washers that come with the kit to help with grounding. EVEN THOUGH THE INSTALLATION IS SIMPLE, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Some people claim that it is noisier than others. Not nearly as loud as me moaning about a sore arm from cranking the manual! br>There's a handy leveling bubble on top of the unit, as well as night lights on both sides to help in low-light/nighttime situations. Like most electric tongue jacks I've seen, the foot plate can be adjusted. My Coleman 24' has no trouble lifting or lowering itself.

Operation should be quiet, but the unit should not be lowered to its maximum depth
4/5

Both the electric and hand crank versions of the unit run smoothly and quietly. It has a toggle switch for raising or lowering the light, as well as a toggle switch for the side LED light. Because I was parked on a bumpy surface, I slightly overextended the unit beyond the taped warning. The unit came to a halt when it reached the end of its lifespan. However, I was able to use the hand crank to bypass the electric and return the unit to its "safe zone. " It turned out that the 30 AMP fuse had blown, but no damage to the unit's electrical components had occurred. I didn't care for the old cylinder glass type fuse when I installed the lift, so I replaced it with a properly gauged outdoor sealed 30 amp blade type fuse. I was able to return to work after replacing the fuse. To make it more noticeable, I found some safety tape and replaced the damaged overextending tape with it. Overextending beyond the "safe zone" of this device, which is when you lower the hitch end too much to accommodate a site where the back of the trailer is lower than the front, can cause damage, according to the manual. I also added a chain to the top of the bubble level, hand crank knob during installation so that I wouldn't lose it if it came loose. Part of this chain was made using a fishing line swivel connector. The cost of replacing this knob is around $25.

Tongue Jack is the best Tongue Jack for the money
5/5

To install this jack, you'll need to do some minor work. It won't be a problem for any DIY'er. The fuse is a cartridge type; I wish all of my other fuses in my car and RV trailer were blade type. So far, that is the only drawback. I'm very happy with the way it looks and performs. I also like the extension because it is simple to raise. I can't say that the speed is as fast as I'd like, but I also can't say that I'm complaining. It is sturdy and appears to be of good quality, so it comes highly recommended.

Excellent value for money! This jack was purchased to replace my second not-working jack
5/5

In only 17 months, you'll have a smart jack. Delimitation of the plastic cover and issues with water entry br>br>It cost less than half as much as the old jack. Install was a breeze, taking only 15 minutes at the campground due to the use of crecent wrenches instead of the proper socket. br>br>Because of their widespread availability, I would have preferred a blade type fuse over glass. But it's not a deal breaker.

Keep the shipping box as well as the packing materials
3/5

Regrettably, this did not go as planned for me. At the end of the camping season, I ordered this jack. I needed to put this on the A-frame because the base is round. I had to cut the back edge of the mounting plate on my T@G frame. I knew that meant it couldn't be returned, but how likely is it that it won't work? right? I wired it up now that it was securely mounted, and I was ecstatic that I didn't have to manually crank the front jack any longer. I splashed out on the leather cover for a few extra bucks. It was finally time to go camping after waiting so long for our next adventure. The jack did a fantastic job. establishing camp and, later, hooking up the truck to return home When we got home, however, I parked the camper and turned on the generator. A 30A inline fuse blew (which was recommended during the installation). The fuse was replaced, but it blew as well. I double-checked all of the wiring and found it to be in good working order, with the exception of the camper being stuck on my truck. When I turn on the power switch, the jack falls to the garage floor, and the line in wire registers a direct short to ground. I threw away all of the packaging, cut the base plate, and gave it enough time (due to seasonal use) that I don't think it's returnable. This spring, it's time to get back to hand cranking.

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

This is the third one I've had in the last three years. But, so far, this is the first of this brand. It's simple to set up, and it appears to be well-made and durable. I like how you can turn it off and turn off the lights in the dark. We've only taken it on three trips so far, so we'll see how it holds up over the winter and into the following season. I'll let you know how things go.

It has a hand crank and can be used when the battery is low
5/5

I used to have the habit of looking up what I wanted and purchasing it without doing any research. I took away something useful. When researching this electric trailer jack, I discovered that the less expensive model ($126) received a lot of negative feedback. 00) vs. At $186, it's a good buy. 00, and it has a lot of positive feedback.

It performs as expected
5/5

This unit appears to be identical to the Husky unit I've used previously. The design and construction appear to be the same. This isn't a bad thing because they both work reliably and without problems, and the jack is fast and quiet.
