Questions & Answers
This product is a complete waste of money. If you're installing drywall, the only time you'll need a bottle opener is if you're inebriated.
It's a foot lift, a rasp, and a bottle opener, to be sure. It's the best drywall multi-purpose product on the market. Probably the most useful tool ever devised.
Yes, it can support the weight of a steel door, and there is sufficient space for it. It has a limited lift capacity; if you need to lift higher, you may need to use a shim.
It can be done. It most likely lacks sufficient lift, with a maximum lift of about three inches. This is merely an educated guess on my part.

I would have given it 5 stars if it had simply committed to being a "panel lifter. " In terms of using it as a rasp and a bottle opener, it's a no-brainer. No, let's keep it brief and sweet. It's garbage as a rasp, and you should know your demographic as a bottle opener. Those of us who know how to hang drywall already have a bottle opener on our keychains or know every bottle opening trick in the book, or, if all else fails, we have our teeth. enough of our teeth to get to the sweet sweet 12 ounces of nectar beneath the bottle cap Overall: br>br> Lifter - Rasp, you've done a fantastic job. Bottle Opener, Garbage, and Garbage No one has ever made it that far.
It lacks the necessary bite to be truly effective. The built-in rasp is almost useless, but it works well as a drywall lift. It lacks the necessary biting power to penetrate type X rock. The good news is that the built-in bottle opener assists me in becoming sufficiently inebriated that I no longer care how my drywall appears!.
It works, but getting under the drywall and keeping it there was a challenge for me. When I step on it, it has a habit of pivoting and sliding sideways. The rasp feature is interesting, but it's only useful for sheets that haven't been installed yet. A flat rasp is required if you want to shave a sheet edge on an outside corner. This tool outperformed all others in terms of bottle opener functionality. I went back to using my flat rasp and my other panel lifter. And, let's be honest, who doesn't want to be more productive? Even I find it strange to carry this around with me as a bottle opener.
This made it simple to install lower drywall panels with a tight fit. I should have bought two instead of one for my project, and I should have gotten this much earlier. It's a little smaller than it appears in the photo, but the finish is nice: painted metal that lists lower panels and presses hard against the seam before screwing it down.
Very nice product. It's a little lighter than another similar product I own, but it's probably just as functional. If you don't have a helper and need to install doors or panels, these are a good option. These are fantastic even with a partner.
It's sturdy and functional. In contrast to the opinions of another reviewer, I found the tool's rasp to be quite effective.
This tool was shown in a sheetrock installation video being used to smooth the edges. It works great for that, and it also has the added benefit of raising the sheetrock to allow it to fit better with other pieces if necessary.
It's the ideal tool for lifting and trimming drywall sheets, and it'll fit in your work belt pouch. A fantastic purchase!.
