Thank you, Penny. If you have plywood, this will work fine. Best of luck!
The tool works great for lifting and sliding a wood pocket door back in its track. I might not know about fixing hinges but I used it to lift and slide a very heavy door.
When you are working by yourself, one should be enough if it is centered on the wall. The difficulty would be trying to position yourself correctly to use both feet to nail or screw the drywall into place when you were facing the drywall.
There are 2 1/2 inches between the floor and the top of the rack.

It was essential for two people to hang vertical drywall sheets in my basement with the help of this tool. You don't need anything fancy this thing is tough enough to handle whatever you throw at it. It is cheap, and it makes you feel better while protecting your fingers and muscles. keep a sheet on the wall however long you want while either you or another person drills or screws a couple of screws into the wall to support it. As well as supporting the drywall, it can also be used to move it slightly side to side.
This is what DIY is all about. Years ago, I used a flat prybar to get the little lift I needed when I installed drywall and replaced windows It's not uncommon for you not to have your prybar handy or not to intend to do that chore that requires a little lifting or there is just not enough space between you and the prybar to do the work. I don't have any of those problems with this little gem. The tool is so small and easy to use that it lives in my tool bag and is ready to use wherever I need it. I like it a lot, but how much? That's all right. Once I've used it, I will put one in each of the tool boxes in my vehicles. That's how convenient and easy it is. Did I mention that it's small as well? Aren't you just in love/hate with inexpensive handy useful tools that just shout out for support. To make it easier, I am buying one for each tool kit I own.
It was difficult for the person who was screwing the drywall in place to hold the drywall in place at the same time. All you have to do is plug this thing in. If you have two people hanging each sheet of drywall, you should have two of the same size.
As well as a "drywall lifter," it is also described as a "drywall taper". From reviews, it seems to be a good fit for this purpose, but I use it for something else altogether. There is a need to lift the legs or corners of a heavy piece of furniture onto a heavy-duty bed The duty is low A height dolly is composed of one leg or an entire corner. Although I have other lifts for my purpose, I have found that they aren't as sturdy, they're not as stable, and they're not as portable as this one. The cost of lifters from the Pentagon is quite a bit higher than theirs. In addition, I purchased a couple of these Pentagon lifters, and I can't wait for them to arrive It hasn't been a problem for me to slip these on, so they're good for what I need.
I do not understand why people say that the quality is not It worked beautifully after I installed a lot of sheets of wallboard.
I used this method to install drywall in one day with one person. I was able to use it without damaging my 1/2" thick sheets of drywall it was just big enough for the job.
Item is sturdy and has a lift of about 1 inch. We have no complaints to make.
This is a really good tool that's very helpful for aligning drywall sheets. When my friend bought the book, he noted that the reviews were good but didn't know why it would be As I tried to place my first sheet of drywall, I found that it did not line up exactly with the wall edge. I had to adjust it to make it fit better. This is where the foot raiser comes in placed the sheet in one corner of the drywall and lifted one edge of the sheet until it was aligned with the corner of the wall. If this is not done, there will be a lot of muscling of drywall into place and much shimming of drywall.
