Glue studs together and flush them out. Or. Elevate the stud surface on either side of the center stud at the lengthwise butt, causing the center to be depressed, allowing you to tape, trowel on mud, and hide the otherwise non tapered butt.
Unlike straight-cut paper, it's simple to tear and staple. Shims that flex. For drywall purposes, this is the best I've ever used.
They're cheaper, flimsier, and thinner than the ones I used to get (but not by much). But I think I'll be able to make it work. It just takes a few more of them (3 instead of 2) and a little more effort, which I suppose is a sign of the times.
This is extremely beneficial. You'll be able to save a significant amount of time!.
If you're working on drywall in an older house, these tools will come in handy.
Hanging cabinets are ideal for straight walls.
Use a laser level to check your work and shim as needed.
