Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
The heavy-duty steel construction of this drywall lift ensures its long life and durability. With a maximum load of 150 pounds, it can be attached to flat ceilings, slanted ceilings, or side walls. This drywall lift can be used in both the home and the workplace.
For easy rolling, this drywall comes with three 5'' caster wheels. When you've positioned the lift in the proper location and are ready to begin operation, simply lock the wheels with the brake to keep the machine from slipping and ensuring your safety.
The telescopic arm has a range of 4' to 9'. 5' is an ideal length for sheet installation. And the telescopic arm is made of rubber, so it won't scratch your panel. This drywall lift can tilt 60 degrees forward or backward, as well as rotate 360 degrees. It's a popular choice for both flat and slanted ceilings.
One person can lift a drywall panel up to 4'x16' without assistance using this drywall lift. There's also a built-in winch wheel that you can use to raise or lower the height to your liking.
This drywall lift is simple to put together and take apart without the use of any tools. The drywall lift folds up nicely and quickly because of its weight and strength. It can assist you in completing your tasks more quickly and efficiently.

Questions & Answers

How do you get the vertical lifter out of the wheel assembly?

Simply lift the wheel section off the ground by standing on it. Remove the top arms first; this will make it much easier and lighter.

Is it capable of handling sheetrock up to the height of 8 feet?

Yes, I primarily use it for 4x8 sheets but it also does 4x10 sheets and I believe 4x12 sheets, but I am not 100% sure.

Is it possible to use this Jack for panels that are only half-width?

I suppose you could.br>You'd have to put a sheet of drywall or 1/4" masonite or plywood on the rig, then put your partial on top of that and jack it up.

Will this work if the ceiling is 11 feet high and flat?

Yes, PAPERS reads 11ft maximum ceiling height, 15ft wall height, guess you finish tilt for walls, I used IT for 8ft, then sold it, I would say YES, PAPERS reads 11ft maximum ceiling height, 15ft wall height, guess you finish tilt for walls, I would say YES, PAPERS reads 11ft maximum ceiling height, 15ft wall height

Selected User Reviews For Goplus 11' Drywall Lift Panel Hoist Jack Lifter Construction Tools w/Adjustable Telescopic Arm 5" Lockable Caster Wheel, 150 lbs, Red

There are a few minor annoyances, but it does what it's supposed to do without effort, and I'd give it five stars if it weren't for a few flaws: 1
4/5

br>br> With it, I received no instructions. I needed to look for a on the internet. Download and print a pdf version of this document.
2. I agree 100% with those who commented on the instructions quality . They were extremely difficult to follow, and there were pictures with each step, but I have no idea which drywall lift they were for, as they didn't appear to match the one I was sent. They don't make it clear what you're supposed to press down on or lift. You were supposed to turn a piece in one step, and after reading it five or six times, I still had no idea what they were trying to tell you to do. When I was testing lifting and lowering it, the winch arm began to collapse (as it does for easy storage), I realized what was wrong. It wasn't until then that I realized what they were talking about when it came to the locking mechanism's function.
3. When I removed the legs/wheels section, a blackish-brown substance began to pour out of it. I had no idea what gray sand was.
4. The backstop legs dangle ineffectively due to the lack of rubber tips. I'm going to contact someone about this because they're required if you're going to use the lift to hang drywall on the walls, which I planned to do. br>br>Apart from those few minor niggles, it's a fantastic tool. I'm a 5'5" woman, and I had no trouble adjusting an 8x4 5/8" drywall piece to the ceiling. It's simple to adjust the sheet's position, and the whole thing is well-made. There is no swaying. You don't have to be Superman to operate the winch and brake, which was one of my concerns as someone who had never used one before. It's a little more difficult to get the drywall on the lift without assistance, but it's a lot easier than getting a sheet on the ceiling! This was something I wanted for two projects: br>br> Walls and ceilings of a family room and a garage I attempted to use dead men (2x4s screwed to the walls to hold up one end for me, and one that pivoted to hold the other end in place once I got it up there), but getting it up there proved to be the most difficult part. I lack the upper-body strength to easily lift a drywall end from the floor to the ceiling while climbing a ladder and then hold it in place long enough to swing my support over. I was worried that if I tried again after the first piece, I would injure myself. br>br>However, with only two small projects, I didn't want to spend too much money on something I'm not sure I'll use again. However, it is less expensive than renting it for the duration of my requirements. Yes, the instructions were frustrating at first, but I eventually figured it out (test it before you put a piece of drywall in, and if the upward sloping diagonal arm does not start to collapse, you know you did it correctly). I received the value for my money. I can't expect to get a five-star experience by buying the cheapest item available.

Does exactly what is expected of it
5/5

In a remodel, I installed 28 sheets of 4'x12' 1/2" drywall to an 8ft ceiling by myself, and it went as smoothly as could be expected. Advantages: br>br> br>Excellent value for money when it comes to quality and performance. It's something I'm going to keep for a long time. br>Folds easily and has a good weight-to-strength ratio. br>My version is exactly like the one in the photo.
Cons: br>It will come apart if you pick it up/carry it by the mid-section stem; wish it had a lock or hitch pin. If you bump the release lever while working, it will immediately drop. (This is standard for all lifts of this type, but it would be nice to have a safety latch as well. ) ) On the plus side, the brake is strong and holds you at the exact height you want. The stay bar will bend if you use too much force on the lift crank, but that is just a sign that you are using too much force. However, I believe it would be safer if it were stiffer.

I'm installing a 10' sheetroock on a 9'8" ceiling, and the large casters make it easy to lift the rock and move it around
4/5

I am blown away. I'm installing a 10' sheetroock on a 9'8" ceiling, and the large casters make it easy to lift the rock and move it around. br>I noticed that it tilts to install on an angled ceiling, but I want to run the rock lengthwise up the ceiling and it won't support it in that direction. However, it appears that rigging some 2x on the frame to hold the rock in the orientation I require will be simple. One very pleasant surprise was that it arrived one day early when I had a helper, which was extremely beneficial.

I'll give it a 4 out of 5 star rating
4/5

The instructions are lacking, as they have been with every device I've purchased in the last 5 years. I'm arrogant enough to believe that as an engineer, I can figure things out, but it still takes time. br>br>It's almost comical that the first set of instructions refers to Figures 1, 2, and so on, but the first figure in the manual (only 6 pages) is "Figure 6. " As a result, without a figure to refer to, you must guess what they mean by the instructions. br>br>The wheel for raising and lowering is the biggest full star (possibly two) knock off. It's bent so that it's at an angle on the shaft (imagine it as a "/" sideways). It gets the job done, but it's far from perfect. I had no intention of dealing with customer service or obtaining a replacement, and I did not open and assemble in the Amazon return window. br>br>The wheels/casters are "okay" at best; they're a little sticky and don't pivot well, but they'll do for the price. br>With the above criticism, it works fairly well.

DanGer! The braking system is completely ineffective
3/5

If I raise anything other than my empty arms, it immediately collapses. It was almost a head-on collision with me. The brake-holding spring appears to be far too flimsy! And it's only held in place by one spring! For safety reasons, at least two springs should be supporting it on their own (in case one snaps or weakens over time). Also, what I received from the seller super buy was labeled costway brand, not the ordered goplus. I'm going to send an email to Costco to see if they can send me a better unit, but I'm pretty sure I'll have to go to the auto store for some better brake springs to make it safe.

This lift was ideal for sheetrocking a 24x24 room with
5/5

This lift was excellent; I used it to sheetrock a 24x24 room with a 10 foot ceiling on my own and had no issues. I used 12' x 1/2" thick sheets. It's well-made and folds up neatly when not in use.

Makes grunt work less of a chore - I would strongly suggest it
5/5

This is possibly the most incredible tool I've ever owned, and I got it for a great price on Amazon. This thing is a godsend if you've ever had to deal with drywall or other heavy panels. It easily handles sheetrock and other similar materials, is simple to assemble and operate, and allows you to move and place panels of various types with ease and precision. Despite its size and weight, it was shipped and delivered on time. This purchase has made me extremely happy.
