Don't ruin it by attempting to lift sheet goods without it. I'm a 50-year-old general contractor who is in great shape. Or so I thought until I tore my bicep muscle trying to lift two sheets of 3/4" OSB from the ground at the same time. You never know when something in your body will give out until it's too late. I would have been fine, but the awkward torque on the elbow position while squatting to lift and until you are fully standing and can turn your body into a better position for your hand and arm puts too much strain on the elbow and shoulder joint. I did, however, have a sub-par performance. It's time to finish the floor sheeting project. The next day, I purchased the product and was astounded that it allowed me to continue working despite my injury. The product allowed for a more ergonomic hand position as well as an increase in reach. I'll never lift sheet goods again without one.
Getting this thing under a heavy 4x8 sheet in the exact center, especially for heavier panels, is a major challenge. After one use, I replaced it with one of the Grabbers that attach to the sheet's top. They don't make it any lighter, but they do make it a lot more user-friendly.
Plastic that is both lightweight and durable. My wife and I needed to move 200 sheets of 1/2" drywall when we bought this product because we were building a house. When dealing with 4'x8' sheets, the fact that she is 5' and I am 6' makes a significant difference. It was a lot easier to carry and place the drywall than it was to just grab the sheets and go. She, in particular, was ecstatic.
I can do it, but I don't have the necessary height to pull those pins up and off. It's exhausting when you're on your own. br>br>This tool was recommended to me by someone on a Jeep forum recently, and I have never been happier with a purchase! The removal of doors is a breeze with this sweet little simple tool! br>br>It's even used by my husband. This is a must-have for Jeep Wrangler owners!.
I covered it with duct tape to prevent the sheet from being damaged. br>Excellent price/quality ratio!.
Very convenient, as it eliminates the need to carry full sheets of sheet rock. It won't make the boards any lighter, but it will make them much easier to carry. This is a tool that I highly recommend, and I purchased two of them. This was a good buy.
I have the ability to move sheet rock on my own! I don't know what else I could want! This book comes highly recommended. In comparison to other types, this is an excellent purchase. At first, I was skeptical, but boy, was I mistaken.
They do the job, and if I had to carry a sheet of drywall alone, I'd give it a 4 or 5 star rating. However, if you have someone to assist you, you won't require these. I'd send them back if I wasn't so honest.
