Questions & Answers

What is the top step's height?

The top step has a height of 28 inches from the ground. Our ladder has a height of 41" from the ground.

My closet is cramped, so I need to know how wide and deep it is when folded. ?

It's 21 1/2 inches wide at the base and 2 1/2 inches wide at the top when folded. 3 inches in depth The measurements are taken from the feet because they are the most visible. I hope this information is useful.

I am a 210-pound woman. lbs. Is there anything else I can do?

This step ladder has been used by me, who weighs 290 pounds. It has a solid feel to it.

I was so frustrated when I first opened it, and now it won't fold back up; how can I get it to close before I return?

'Tap' that small button on the side of the top step just a little. Don't force it; just a 'baby-sitting' arrangement will suffice. It is moved to the folding position when you press the 'touch' button. That's all there is to it. It will then fold back in on itself. If you are unable to obtain it, please let me know. It's not as difficult as it may appear. (A lever is moved by that tiny button.) ) Do you understand what I'm talking about? ) At least, that's what I'm hoping.

Selected User Reviews For Rubbermaid RM-3W 3-Step Stool Ladder, Silver

based on a small user's opinion Because I am only 5 feet tall, I purchased this stool for my convenience
3/5

It's functional, and the price is reasonable, but if you're of similar height to me, I wouldn't recommend it. 1) It's quite heavy for a female user, and carrying it around with the stool height is a bit difficult for me. br>2) It has a handle for carrying it, but the sharp points hurt my hand. br>3) The stool is shaky in some way when you step on the highest steps; The handle is also too short at the moment, so I have to support myself by holding other items.

It's so close to being perfect
4/5

I'm fortunate enough to live in a fantastic pre-war neighborhood. My kitchen cabinets and closets are in v- shape, and I'm in the middle of a war building. y tall, reaching all the way to the (also tall) ceiling. I was reminded of Goldilocks and the Three Bears in some ways. I had a painters' ladder that was too high for me, as well as a two-person ladder. It was a low-stepping stepper. I read several reviews that said it was too heavy and difficult to open, but this one is absolutely perfect. It is, after all, a heavenly place. It's a little heavier than many people are used to, but it's not by much, and it's part of why I'm so confident in its construction. I realized two things when it came to any problems opening/closing this step ladder that had been reported. First, the rubberized ends of each leg are wider than your average step ladder, which may cause some 'drag' until you realize it and adjust how you move it during closing, but this also speaks to my opinion of its superior construction. It's a good thing, really! Second, at long last, a step ladder with a release latch/knob/lever that actually operates the closing mechanism in the proper direction to close the step ladder. YEAH! I've had my two-step stepladder for over ten years and I still don't know which way is "open" and which is "close. " The only flaw, and the reason I didn't give it five stars, is that I wish the back came up a little higher, though the height and width are perfect for where it's kept in my apartment, so I guess it's a trade off. Oh, and it almost completely collapses when folded. It was a three-pointer when I took a shot! With the exception of a minor quibble about the back being a little higher, it's a winner. I feel secure, well-balanced, and couldn't be more content if I were twins!.

Review of the previous eight years - Be careful who you buy from
3/5

This isn't a one-star product; I just gave it that rating because most people only read the one- and five-star reviews. br>br>I work on a lot of projects around the house - You probably know more about me than anyone else you've ever met. This stool has been with me for all of them. The top step, however, should be avoided. The locking mechanism is slack (and has been since I purchased it). As a result, if you shift your weight backwards slightly while on the top stop (for example, when painting overhead), it will rock backwards and throw you off balance. Because you're falling from a height of three feet, this is more of a heavy step than a true health hazard. However, it has the potential to cause you to drop whatever you're holding (e. g. , a book). If you're painting from above, you'll need to use a larger brush. br>br>It would be perfect if Rubbermaid fixed this design flaw, but I'll keep using it for another 8 years as it is.

3-Dimensional 3-Dimensional 3-Dimensional 3-Dimens a stepping stool Rubbermaid produces some truly outstanding products, and this is one of them
5/5

The 3- At the top of the step ladder, you have about 27 inches of reach, and it's small enough to fit in any storage space (I chose to store it next to a small gap near my refrigerator, and I primarily use it in the kitchen). The ladder's maximum weight capacity is around 200 pounds, but it can easily handle a few more pounds. The ladder's sturdiness makes me feel well supported and reassured that whatever I'm doing at the top of the ladder, the ladder can easily support me, which is a wonderful feeling when buying a ladder. It's surprising how heavy it is to hold. It weighs about 13 pounds, and moving the ladder around, folding and unfolding it, could be a chore for the wife/girlfriend. br>br>Here are my responses to the most frequently asked questions: What is the height of the top step? br>br>Can you tell me how high the top step is? 27. br>br>28. br>br>29. br>br>30. 25- inch at the very top br>br>I'm a 210 pound woman. lbs. It's too big and heavy to use in the kitchen on a regular basis
3/5

I'm a short lady, so rather than dragging a dining room chair over to reach the upper cabinets, I decided to purchase this 3-tiered cabinet. I have a step-folding ladder that I can easily store in my pantry. Advantages: br>br> It's well-made and will last a long time, and it's tall enough to reach the upper cabinets in my kitchen. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. When collapsed, the bag is extremely heavy for a petite woman and extremely bulky. Because it has a large footprint and takes up too much space in my pantry, I must store it in my hallway closet.

This is the kind of ladder that everyone should have! I used to have a step ladder similar to this one that I used all the time
5/5

After a while, the ladder simply refused to open. My new ladder is fantastic, and I believe the handle is even higher than my old one, which I adore. It makes me feel even more secure. This is something that I would recommend to anyone. As I get older, I won't be able to climb a regular ladder, so this type of ladder comes in handy. The ladder is sturdy, not flimsy like some others I've seen, and it's simple to fold and store. The ladder is light enough for me to carry. It's a pleasant place to stand. This is a ladder that I would strongly recommend. It's also equipped with feet to protect your floors. I had previously purchased a safety ladder, but it was bulky, heavy, and difficult to use, so I ended up giving it away in favor of this type of ladder, which is more suitable for me.
