Questions & Answers
Specifically, there isn't a ceramic socket on the 150 watt 10" or 8" dome that has a porcelain socket on the 250 watt 10" nor the 8" dome has a ceramic socket
The answer to this question is Compared to standard blubs, they are cooler. Heat builds up less. Reflector housings with this type of design have only one drawback - they don't fold up. They can be used for a 150 watt incandescent bulb Heat gets very high in those places. My two fluorescent lights are 100-watt florescents and I do not have any issues with them.
Is there shade? You can see the shade if you put an object in front of it.
There is no way to avoid the consumption of 40 watts in that situation. You can safely use a light bulb with a maximum wattage of 150 watts If you put in a light bulb of the same wattage, it will use exactly the same amount of energy. There is no electricity used by the house itself. When purchasing this housing, please note that CFL and LED bulbs are compatible if you would like to use less power.

AN URGENT NEW REVIEW - THIS LAMP Almost Torched My Home. I AM THANKFUL WE WERE HOME AT THE TIME. A burning smell of electricity started to fill the air. Trying to find everything. As we were sniffing around, it exploded into flames! We narrowed it down to our spare bedroom, where it was instantly engulfed in smoke! A literal explosion occurred as the entire building burst into We would have been unable to save our animals if we were not home. DO NOT BUY!! Our house would have burnt to the ground and we would have been buried.
Two of these lamps will be used in my classroom for an investigation. My plan was to use one of them as soon as I purchased it. I left the lamp on all day and night for about three weeks. Once I had completed it, I put it away in a tub, and yesterday I pulled it out to use it for this year's class on the same investigations. Setting it up and turning it on was easy. While leaving school, I noticed the bulb was not on, so I replaced it in the assumption that it had been burnt out. After the bulb blew, the power went off. gave it one more try, but the result was the same, so I pulled out the other lamp that I had and am using it (it's working so far). While this lamp was inexpensive, when using my own funds to purchase books, equipment, and supplies in the classroom, I always try to find the best prices. However, it was expected that this would last for more than one This has left me disappointed, and I will need to find something with more reliability.
Lamp is, overall, a good lamp. I find these at Walmart for $6. These are a little better quality than the $6 ones, but not worth twice as much. I caution that if you put large bulbs in them, such as LED grow lights, the weight may be too much to hold them in place. Lamps like this one are clamped to metal shelf frames, and it was the bulb The clamp was Zip-tied in place to prevent it from falling and so I took one star away.
A Zen Labs' 12 Watt E27 grow light was recommended to be used with this unit. We found the recommendation to be inadequate Neither the reflective shell nor the bulb are enclosed inside of it. Because of this, it's not useful. My opinion about the clamp is the same as yours. I have not been able to get it to clamp onto anything so far. You can unfasten it either by sliding it off or by releasing the spring. Hanging it from a hook is the best way to use it. I wanted it to be seated atop a trellis, however. The bike would have been returned had it not made such a dramatic descent and come to rest against a wall with such heavy damage. Luckily, the Grow Light didn't break since it is one of my favorites.
For this price, I can live with these things Despite its thinness, the metal is prone to denting or bending (do not Despite the fact that they are easy to use, the adjustment is hard to set and feels In spite of that, it does the job and has a good cord. If you want a high end bar decoration, you might not want this but from a utility perspective and price point, it's a great deal. The lamps featured in the picture are part of the home vegetable starter setup I built myself.
This light is very sturdy and solid. The quality of these is much better than the ones I had purchased from a big box store which probably cost twice as much. This work light is far superior to the lights I previously owned. A dull rather than a highly reflective surface casts as much light as possible, but they are flimsy, dent easily, and are easily damaged. There is no question that this work light demonstrates an entirely different level of quality right out of the box. (I promise to update the review if I discover that it does not work well over its lifetime. )
It took weeks for this light Make sure you get rough service light bulbs as well if you are using work lights for the first time. Bulb types typically used in household lights won't survive the wear and tear that shop lights endure.
Unfortunately, I do not know why this is happening. It was listed with the Huixinda LED Grow Light Bulb as a good buy, and I chose it simply so that I could skip the long and boring process of reading about all 5 million clamp lights that were basically all the same. In keeping with my promise, my order arrived on time and I installed the light and bulb immediately. In the grey winter of Pennsylvania, my dying houseplants were withering. I was eager to get some help for them. It took about five minutes for the bulb to go out. I turned it back on in ten seconds. Every time it happened, it was the same thing. There was a plug change. There was an extension cord change. Blinking is still going on. In the clamp light, I replaced the bulb with a regular one and it didn't blink. Another lamp is now lit by the Grow Bulb The camera does not blink. As soon as I put the bulb back into the clamp light, it started The problem is that I do not understand This problem didn't appear to be happening in any other reviews I read. This is not a bulb-related problem. The light can't be the problem. I think it has to do with this particular light bulb and this particular bulb combination. Since I am really disappointed, and like most of you, I am not fond of returning items, but I feel cheated since my grand plan to decorate my home with beautiful plants has been foiled.
We did not give this lamp a 5 star rating due solely to the nut that controls the tilt up and down of the lamp. Occasionally, even when tightened from the back, the lamp head angle will slip, but only if the lamp is sufficiently jarred or if it experiences a strong In the longer term, however, I fear the lamp will only become more slack and the threads will strip, so it will also have to be fixed or altered to support the lamp. Its defense, however, is that I'm using it with an elaborate full spectrum LED plant growing light (ceramic) that's quite heavy. The lamp is made of heavier materials than the other three we had on hand - it is made with steel, quite a bit heavier as a result. While only one of them had a tilt adjustment, the other two did, and they were worn-out The tilt adjustment is not stable with other manufacturers, so it seems to be a problem with them In any case, the lamp has been performing perfectly and seems to be well constructed. This lamp is very well done I especially appreciate the clamp that secures it to the object. It is especially stiff and stays in place like the rubber tubing that's included on the clamp as well because it prevents There should be a little bit more length on the power cord. In my decision to buy this particular lamp, I weighed the price, the pictures, and other reviews, and I am happy with the outcome.
