Questions & Answers

Can the battery last for a long time?

My desk is consistently topped with one over the course of the day. During low lighting, you get about 9 to 11 hours of light. During high lighting, about 3 to 4 hours of light. It has never occurred to me to calculate it because I have not used Medium enough. As a result, I bought a second one since it regularly died on me when I put in long hours at work. Considering the price and brightness of the charger, as well as the great magnet, it was well worth having one on my desk and one on the charger. It is ideal for me because I am in a corner with low light and I have a metal credenza type desk. It is highly recommended to use 2 when used in this way.

It appears the lights I ordered have 3 modes, high, medium, and low, but there is In order to activate flashing mode, do I have to do something special?

A similar issue has plagued me as well. My light came in the mail yesterday primary purpose for wanting it was the flashing capability. The manufacturer should change the information if they want to be taken seriously.

What can you do to make it last longer between charges by adding more lithium rechargeable batteries inside?

It is very difficult to remove the battery since it is built in.

Well, a lot has been written about these, so I won't go over old ground too much
5/5

They provide excellent light output and last for at least five hours. This is an excellent light source The energy consumption is similar to that of a 75W incandescent light bulb. Even in a totally dark room, this unit will provide ample light to read, work on projects, or do anything you would normally do in a room that was lit by one source of light. In addition to their brightness, I have found that they do well when laid flat on a surface ABOVE eye level, so that whatever light falls on them can reflect off the ceiling and thus light up a larger area. Because the 5000*K color temperature isn't blue (like cheap 'white' LEDs usually are) but more like daylight - there is probably no need for color temperature adjustments. Very good! I fully charged the units before I tested them (I have two units). In general, I didn't want to fully discharge them as some batteries don't like that, and even though Li-ion batteries are compatible Lithium batteries usually aren't fussy about that, but I don't know if there are any protections built into the charging or discharging circuits, so I decided to do 5-way parallel operation instead. You will be tested every hour. Having been fully charged, they were both turned up to the highest setting and left there for a few minutes While the amount of light output was down slightly during the first hour, it was good for all five hours. Even though the COB was bright enough to distinguish the 12 LEDs, you could no longer pinpoint the individual LEDs within the During the remaining 4 hours of the 5 hour test, the brightness level remained around the same level. And at the end of the 5th hour, the brightness level remained very bright and usable and was the same on both devices. Next, I charged both of them with a USB capable of delivering 2 A, and I then used a cable capable of delivering up to 3 A. USB ports on computers usually have a 1A USB port instead of a 5A. This power supply has a 5A rating (at 5 volts). To ensure that supply was not the limiting factor, my intent was to ensure the supply was not the limit. I logged on for five hours and then logged off It took a tad less than six minutes for one unit to fully charge. The first took about 5 hours and the second was about 7 hours. Seeing as how the starting points were the same for both and, presumably, any charging time would have been the same, I'm not sure why the difference in charging time occurred. The circuitry of the light (if any exists am not sure what they would look like if they were disassembled). It's possible that there is some variation in price. Components controlling the liquid or perhaps variations in the liquid itself It depends on whether you use ion cells or not. Anyhow, while the charge times may seem long, this is to be expected as the USB charge rate is limited (and the unit may assure that) however, the light draw rate can be higher - resulting in a longer charge time. The answer is yes, and it is evident. The voltage of the Li-ion battery Power tool batteries) that would be more expensive and take away USB charging convenience. After repeating the test the next day, the results were nearly identical This is a very good sign, in my opinion. In addition, the manufacturer answered some questions for me regarding my plan to use these lights as standby units in the event of a power failure. With full power available and fully charged, the device is ready to use. My first questions to Warsun were 1) can I let them stay plugged in to at least try it out I'm ready to go If I wait until the green light turns on, will the battery be damaged or will the life of the unit be reduced and 2) if that's not the case, how long will these units last once charged (so I know I have 4 hours of run time in case of When asked about the first question, they replied that keeping it plugged in would, in fact, decrease the battery life of the device. The battery will be fully charged once it is plugged in. In conclusion, I found out that the charge control circuit is either very simple or not at all There is a shortage of Li-ion batteries because most Li-ion batteries Batteries connected to Li-Ion chargers are literally turned off when fully charged, to prevent shortened battery life (virtually every This is done with a lithium power tool along with high-efficiency A parallel multi-processor with high speed The charging of cell phones). Thank you so much for letting me If I don't want them plugged in, I will unplug them. Continue for an indefinite period of time. As a result, 18650 Li-ion batteries are one of the best options Chargers and battery packs for Li-Ion batteries are readily available on-line Despite their soldered nature, these units have them on the line It is not difficult to replace them once they are in, It is best if they last for a long time. It then begs the question of how long the units will maintain a full charge after being disconnected from the electric current. Most Li-based batteries have this type of battery Battery packs for cordless tools that disconnection after full charge (you can leave it in the charger or remove it as you like) state that they will hold charge for one year, but my experience in my 40V Li-Ion tool battery packs indicated one year was long enough for me. The true nature of ion trimmers is that this is the case. Normally, a battery that has been left for a year and a freshly charged battery will run about the same amount of time. Warsun failed to answer that part of my question, so I re-posed my question. I was asked to follow up on the following I sent an email (through Amazon messaging) and received a reply containing the title of the Amazon listing and a line asking for feedback. I have no answer to give. Hence, I assume they will hold the charge for a good while (since lithium ion batteries do not corrode as easily as batteries So I will wait about two months (because unfortunately that is the longest we go without a power failure and when I would recharge these units after use) and then, without recharging beforehand, I will test again to see if they will still run for 5 hours and have similar light output. I will provide a general 2019 update below)

Okay, let's get started. Overall, I am satisfied with the value of these units. A well-built and very bright flashlight, though I find it difficult to believe that but two 18650 batteries could create that much light It can put out 30W for up to 5 hours on a Li-ion battery. It's funny - Since I know that it's the light output that matters and not the declared wattage, I'm okay with it A COB LED is likely to have a light output of close to 10 watts, which is quite a lot. With regard to the flip-open, the flip-open is a little bit of a challenge It's good that our stand's okay and that our flip-flops are okay It is useful to have hooks and screws. - I am very happy with the magnet Use a USB charger nearby) as well as for use under the hood of the The case appears to be sturdy with a rubber surround that is well molded and seems to be a decent and useful drop-proof design The protection of life, property and the environment It was about three when I dropped it. A vinyl floor had no damage after being walked upon for 5 feet. In order to be truly excellent, what would they need to do? a charging circuit that manages the charging process and then shuts down (disconnects) the batteries once fully charged so that they are plugged in to charge and simply left after the green light illuminates. Lithium is used almost universally in all types of electrical equipment It is possible to power tools with a Lithium-ion battery. In the same vein, a third cell charging in parallel would be simply awesome (in one third the time). Due to their location inside the units, the red charging light and green charging light are clearly visible because they illuminate a portion of the housing instead of being external lights. You will be able to see this easier and it will be less annoying than an external light at night Nice! Alternatively, a simple switch that removes the 5 volt USB input would be a nice convenience if a more sophisticated charge controller is too expensive. That way, once the unit has been fully charged, the charge can simply be turned off and the green light will go out. In the same way that a device would be unplugged after being plugged in and then charge again, but without any dangling wires, since the wires remain plugged in until it's actually used. There is a better solution if you take better care of yourself The controller can be shut down, but at this price point I doubt the cost would justify it, so I may just add a 'shut-down charge controller' A kill switch will be installed at a later time provided the units are still performing appropriately at the time. To summarize, the items included here are great for the price great light output, good run time, convenient features, apparent ruggedness, and availability of replacement batteries (though soldered is required if this is a concern). That gets a five-star rating, and this particular price range gets five stars Four out of five stars for * * -
4 It is 2019. I am posting the promised update Five minutes after your 5-minute meal sitting idle (without being used You are charged). In conclusion, after I fully charged the above units as described above and let them sit for five minutes, I fully charged the units as follows I will be on leave for six What I want to learn is how much of their run-up to the election they accounted for They need to be tested not only on their capacity to retain time, but also their reliability as a backup Power outages tend to occur relatively frequently at our company, so we need an emergency light. Over the period of time, none of the units have been touched. My next item will be to get There seems to have been no loss of charge while they sat! When I shut them down for the first time 6 weeks ago (see above), I shut them down after 5 hours There are still a lot of stars, but they are a little less bright than before. It is the 5th time I let them go. I tested the batteries for another 5 hours and they were just as bright as they were at 5 hours the last time, so while the charging method may not be sophisticated enough to be plugged in all the time (see manufacturer comments above), they do not seem to deplete their batteries while sitting around either. I love it! I now feel confident that these units will be 'ready' when the next power outage occurs. We had a 4 hour power outage a few weeks ago, but I didn't use them since I wanted to complete this test and did not want to have to start over. This is what we have for you Consequently, I am announcing that these are some awesome little units and have given them five out of The information I provided here should be of some use to you. Now that these units are recharging, they are getting charged. The time taken to complete them will be updated as soon as they are substantially longer or shorter than they were last time (in my earlier review above). I will also run this test again in 3 months if the results are materially different, so I will also share those results at that time as well.
4 The following is an update on the charging schedules for 2019 As a result of the second round of testing (above), while the light output and duration were still excellent, the charging time increased rapidly. The first recharge tests showed that the unit took a long time to recharge The first and the second The number of 6 was 2. In addition to 5 and 7, there is There was a difference of 25 hours between the two. At the end of the 4-hour period In 2019 there will be a re-election Yesterday, two units on both sides of the test had a charge time of Each of them takes 5 and 16 hours to complete! My understanding of why this is so is hazy. We used the same high capacity charger with the same cables and ports, and tested them in the same way (within 10%). I guess it is going to be necessary to run a third round of testing, so I'll rerun it in six weeks (same amount of 'standing' time). We will reach that point in mid-May.
4 I turned the lights on briefly today and then ran the two lights for a few minutes. Each running is charged through a USB system that measures voltage, current, and wattage The hour monitor shows the time every hour. They gradually tapered the current down to zero as the battery was charged. I am happy to hear this In the documentation, it indicates that all units are equipped with a fully functional charge controller. Warsun (see earlier discussion above) told me before leaving the farm that leaving just the farm would be a mistake as it could lead to a lot of problems It is probably true that charging the battery after the green light comes on will shorten battery life, but I don't see how that could happen if there is no charging current going through the battery. According to my understanding, these units CAN actually be left on at all times The battery will continue to charge even after the green light comes on, just as Li-ion cell batteries do It is possible to use lithium tool batteries without any negative consequences. Having said that, I will now unplug them and will do step 5 for a third time. In a few weeks, run tests over the course of an hour. In front of me this time, I'll be able to observe how much charge current each device is consuming, which might give some insight into why one unit takes a bit longer than the other to charge and why one takes 20-30 minutes to charge. The battery of the one device fully recharges 50 percent longer than the other. My next test will be after 6 months with these WARSUN LED Work Lights, so I am posting it currently as of January 23, 2020. However, I decided to wait as I wanted to see if its charge would hold up as an emergency light for about a year, and now it is 11 months since I bought them (I couldn't LOL) and 9 months since the last test. So, 9 months ago they were fully charged after their last test, and now they've sat for 9 months - which is a long time! There is no internet service The charger is plugged in, but is To my astonishment, to my great surprise, they passed! Even after 5 hours of continuous lighting (on the bright/high setting), I did not notice any degradation in light output, so I let them run for two more hours, during which there was some reduction in output, but they were still quite bright and very usable after 7 hours of continuous lighting This is incredible! The test ran for 7 hours but I terminated it afterward as I was concerned about drawing down the Lithium Ion cells too much, which could shorten their life. At least from the sets of tests I have run so far there seems to be no evidence to back that up. The fact remains, however, that these lights appear to demonstrate the lossless nature of the 18650 Lithium Ion cells they use. It is possible to purchase 18650 Li-Ion batteries with a higher capacity or a lower capacity The ones chosen by Warsun aren't as good as the ones used by WARSUN, but by the standards of these tests, they seem to work just fine. A fully charged light will provide at least five hours of visual light, and they were still bright after seven hours. In summary, these lights are effective, hold a charge for a long time when not plugged in, and are useful in an emergency or in a power outage. - one failure light will light up a whole room if placed on high (but only one at a time) - there seems to be no degradation in battery/output after a long rest (9 months), so they still get 5 stars I'm a happy camper having a light I can rely on. Here in the boonies where power goes out quite a bit, I'm used to this kind of dependable source of light. I recommend this product! It's amazing!.

He is the mechanic's best friend
5/5

These little snap-on lights they sell at Snap-on are known to all mechanics You can get them for 80 dollars, and they are supposed to be the best. This is better, I am here to tell you. What's the reason? We can start by talking about the light output and then we can move on to other points. There is no question that these lights are incredibly bright, they can light pitch black areas easily and they have one of the longest battery lives I have ever seen. I opened mine up to find that it has two 2000mAh 18650 batteries. In other words, it is true to its There aren't many phones on the market that have this much juice. It lasted me over four hours on high without any problems, and it cleared right back up after that.

As for how to use it, I used it for a few hours on high without any problems whatsoever. I can certainly say that this is valuable information for mechanics. The very fact that it helps make working on anything look like it is in daylight if it is within 10 feet of it is incredibly useful Another key feature is that it fits in the palm of your hand and has a very strong magnet attached to the back, which is also In terms of durability, it's great since the sides and edges are covered in shock-absorbing rubber. Furthermore, it has a metal hook as opposed to a plastic one like most of these cheap lights, so it won't break as Another thing I want to add one last thing to this. Whenever the lithium cells in these go bad, you can simply put any 4000mAh cell that will fit into the case right into the case and throw it in right away. A simple positive and negative wire is used for charging with no balanced charging (since they are connected parallel), so any battery, even a bigger one, can be used!.

I am bright
5/5

It is a bright day. Contains 2 2000mAh 18650 batteries and I was able to add another one so that it now has three. Only two of the center screws need to be removed, however 4 screws keep the unit together just fine. Now it can run for a very long time. *Update I have added photos of the 3 cells to the update. The reviewer who reviewed me thought I might have lied. Regardless, I want to make sure everyone knows I am completely honest when it comes to all my reviews. Lights of all kinds are in my collection and almost every one is modified. My experience as an electronics repair tech gives me the know-how to solder and work on electronics. For those who wish to do this themselves, I strongly urge you to first analyze the cells in your light so you can select the right one. The cells in your light should be no more than 100mAh from each other. As a general rule, whenever you add a battery, you shouldn't rely on the markings unless it's a name brand. A good rule of thumb is any battery whose name contains the word fire will most likely cause a fire. I wish you success and thank you for your kind consideration.

Manuals need to be more detailed
4/5

There are some minor flaws in this product, but it's generally good. These lights were purchased for work. I bought four of them. The batteries have been in use for more than a month, and I have used them almost every day. My biggest purchase ended up being four, as I could use the brightest setting for about two hours. You can bring 2 to work at once. This light will automatically turn off when the power is low, which is a design flaw in my opinion. During low power conditions, I understand that light will be dim. If you do turn it off, be sure to give it a warning first. This product almost made me return it as the light kept turning off on its own. Furthermore, if someone is taking the light out for camping and walking around with the light for a while, there can be a safety issue. I do not think it will be suitable for camping because as the power is low, it will just go out, so people will get lost. Although this light uses rechargeable batteries, it is unable to be switched easily from one mode to another. For batteries to be changed, you have to undo screws. I think it would be much easier to carry 2 replaceable batteries than an additional
It is quite a basic manual at the end. The brightness is not mentioned for how long the light will last in high or low mode. information is given on how long it takes to recharge and no rating is given on how water proof it is. Therefore, this light might not be completely waterproof, but it is water resistant. Hence you should be cautious when using it in rain. The price of $20 a piece might be asking too much for me, so I will give it a rating of 3 stars instead.
