Exactly one week ago, I received my PowerSmith PWLR108S. As soon as I unpacked it, I found it was unusable. However, it still does not work when I charge it up. In spite of Amazon's urge to return it, I contacted the company, and they suggested I call them instead. I sent them a receipt because they insisted I do so. In any case, they want me to return the defective light using a tag they will provide.

I'm frustrated that I have to go through so much trouble to replace a defective $30 light due to PowerSmith's poor quality control. There is no point in going through all.

Works even after all these years! I like this little light a lot! There is no worry about it getting too hot and this is one rugged device. I am a bit of a motorhead, so I spend a lot of time tinkering with cars in the garage. But you always need a worklight to do that correctly. The old metal worklights came with incandescent bulbs (which stopped working when dropped), then fluorescent work lights that don't like the cold (and also don't like being dropped), battery powered lights (which are usually too dim), and finally clip on lights with household LED light bulbs. My decision was to purchase one of these LED work lights to try out and I have been very happy with it so far. There is plenty of light coming from it, and it is neatly sized. The handing hook is mounted on the bottom, and the base is used for standing it up. There's more light coming from it than I was getting from the light bulb I was formerly using. The light doesn't seem to get very hot either, so that's a plus, and it produces a nice, bright It is nice that it comes with a built-in hook and stand. There are times when it would be nice if it had a clip, but I shouldn't have a problem using a clamp or giant spring clip. My overall experience with my purchase was positive. Despite the short shipping time, I was pleased with the price.

The LEDs on this thing get hot, too, just like other bulbs, especially if they are drawing too much power to emit the huge amount of lumens they do.
