My purpose for buying this light was to find a reliable quality lamp that seemed to be very good from the reviews. To get it imported here to Brazil, I had to pay a lot. First of all, let's get to it. I opened the package up to check that it had not been damaged during shipping to ensure it was as described. As far as I can tell, the lights worked as they should and I was impressed by the amount of light that I saw. Later that day I began attaching the base, and it seemed as though the design was poor. Based on what I've seen, the screw and base should be on the outside of the product The lock should be located on the side/bottom of the plate and not on the inside. For someone with big hands, it may be difficult to tighten the handle without fracturing their knuckles. According to me, it is not a good fit for consideration. However, that is not a major problem and does not distract from the overall mood of the lighting. It was last night that was the biggest "problem" and the only reason I wrote this review. I have had construction workers using it during the last few days as they have had to work late into the night. During the process of turning off the light last night, the worker got shocked, because when they finished and returned to me, the light was still on. My next step was to give it a try. As a result, I was stunned. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. There seems to be a problem with the switch and that it is not performing as well as it should. It has a plastic protector covering on both sides, but it does not always engage into either position completely. I checked it from the original delivery and I did not see it as a Well made change (to me, at least). Now it is possible. My final investment in these little work lights is now 3 of them and I used them all last week for the first time in a very dimly lit house.
