A 2 inches female PVC or ABS connection with the center connection being the exhaust connector and the angled connector the intake connector. As I work on the intake connection, the street 45 fitting is used to straighten it. Outside diameter of the penetration into the roof is three inches. The number five. This is the part # 5 of Diversitech 3" rubber / galvanized flashing that I use when installing these products
This is correct. The straight end is the exhaust and the branch wye is the
There is nothing. You can see the water being diverted into your drain as it enters. An efficient furnace needs to be connected to a drain so that it can be properly installed.
A calculation for this is included in the furnace installation instructions. Factors such as the number of bends determine how long it will take. On the first and second stories, our units are horizontal and penetrate the walls. Three of our vertical units on the third floor run through our attic, which is perhaps 10 or so feet high, and through My advice would be not to run any further than these

In a nutshell, Using this product saves you the trouble of having to remove two roof or wall shingles for installing an HVAC system it means fewer hole cuts in the roof or walls.
Despite the tankless nature of the system, I installed it using a Navien NPE 210A. I love how well it installed. I have a problem when I turn on my water heater, but it works perfectly at full load, but with a light load it creates a wall-thumping harmonic resonation that causes the water heater to flame out, leaving you with a cold shower. Once I disconnect the input duct, the unit immediately starts up again. Therefore, I will no longer use the input duct of this vent since it is not required to draw outside air. I had a very frustrating experience troubleshooting this issue! Although I wonder if the 3 inch version would have worked, I do not want to spend more money just in case the coaxial vent could work.
We are pleased with this product My recommendation for any condensing appliance installation is that the device is well made and that it is highly recommended. Despite having easy to follow instructions on the box, I found the installation process to be significantly more difficult than it should have been. The instructions say to first cement the bottom "wye" connector to the large diameter pipe, and then separately cement the top "cap" to the inner small diameter pipe. Having done this, my difficulty was in cementing these two assemblies together after the vent had been installed on Due to the fact that the fitting where the two fit together is now hidden at the bottom of the vent, I had to create a small pole with a cement applicator that I could lower down into the vent to apply Initially cementing the small diameter pipe to the "wye" would have made a lot more sense, and then cementing the large diameter pipe to the "wye. " In order to accomplish this task through the roof (or wall), the assembly is then inserted and secured with a "cap" on the easily accessible small diameter pipe. This small tip is intended to save someone else the trouble of doing the same thing.
An exhaust vent was all that was needed to vent our tank water heater because the heater originally had a power vent. This is a perfect solution for our new tankless Navien water heater since we did not want to drill a hole in the house. I wish there was some type of screen for the intake and exhaust to prevent anything from getting inside. Thanks to the Navien water heater's intake air screen, you won't have to worry about harsh smells.
In the past, I installed a combined water heater/furnace inside a basement wall and a chimney vent on my old gas furnace. When I decided to replace it, I poked a much larger hole in the basement wall instead of two small ones. During temperatures below zero, this vent NEVER forms ice and is located on a side of the house that receives a lot of The installer told me that from now on, he will use these products.

I was told this manufacturer does OEM work. With it you can get the same results for a mere fraction of the OEM price. There was no issue with part size tolerance It is easy to assemble both dry and with cement. It comes with instructions printed on the box, which seems a little crazy, but I mostly followed the appliance manufacturer's instructions anyway as this device can be used to configure many different appliances. The seller or manufacturer of this product has no connection with me, and I am not compensated in any way by anyone who regards this review as good.
Provides routes for 2" PVC vents and air intake lines to go through the exterior wall since there is only one hole to be drilled. There is only a small difference between the diameter of the outside pipe and 4 "actual diameter.
This is a great product at a good price. Only problem is the cap was broken in transit. The same problem has been reported in other reviews.
