A 40-pound box was purchased A small rental in Ames, Iowa purchased a 3001 Broan vent hood 5 years ago. It would have cost $50 to replace the entire hood if the fan failed but we decided to just replace the Assembling the fan motor, blade, and bracket for this price was half as expensive as buying the motor only and a third of the price of buying I had it assembled straight from the box, and I only had to remove 2 screws and unclip the wire harness from the old assembly to remove it. To install the new assembly, I had to try a couple of times. A quick adjustment later and it was working perfectly! The only thing I had to do was pull out the bracket and bend it out because the blades were hitting the edge.
I used this fan in my Kenwood Range Hood 233 perfectly. According to its description, it works as intended. I received a damaged box and an opened or used part that had been previously opened or used. Every time I spend money with a retailer, I often expect to receive new, unopened items. The item that you have sent me has already been opened by someone else, so I gave it 4 stars out of 5 for that.
I would like to return it We couldn't use it in the range hood because it was too small for it. To install the hood, I required a fan motor 36" in diameter. Rather than returning the fan, I would like to find a fan that is bigger and will fit the range hood I have. Unfortunately, I do not know what brand the range hood I have is.
My second unit failed in less than two months, same thing happened to the first.
It replaces the old model for a reasonable price.
It is a fantastic value, and you barely even hear it run. There is no need for me to turn up the volume on television anymore, it's nice.
Installing this product was very simple. This is a great value for a very high-quality product.
