My name is There are 7 major ways to solve a problem. What is the overall diameter of a 1 inch It refers to the second part. Can you tell me the button size in 8 inches? Is it Are there 2 measurements for the thickness of the back?

7. Yes, I understand. A diameter of 1 inch is considered the overall size. Eight inches is the size of a button. And zero is the depth. A plate with an outer edge of 2 inches thick has a diameter of 2 inches. I found the middle to be slightly thicker.

There is a problem with the light bulb. Could you tell me what number to replace the tiny bulb with?

In addition, the doorbell button is cheaper if it is replaced in its entirety.

Yes, it is. There is no problem.

What is the installation process for this product? There are two clips that go into a tube-like thing in the wall do they go into the ?

Wires are attached to the back of the device with the help of two very small screws. There are clips on the wall that hold the button.

I like the way you look
4/5

My wife and I are very happy with this It has a round shape that I like. Besides the facade being made of metal, the exterior is also worth noting. It is because of the installation process that it earned 4 stars. In order to mount the doorbell, a pinch/resistance bracket is required. (I have included a hand drawn image for illustration. At the time of writing this review, the software was already installed. ). There are no screws holding the tabs together. only downside to this is that you must cut a hole in your exterior large enough to fit the bracket base in order for the doorbell to sit flush with the surface. It is not difficult to run or install the doorbell if you are using wood, but brick makes it more difficult. If you plan on going back to a traditional tall slender doorbell after installing this, the hole may be visible beyond the sides of the As I've only had it installed for a month, it's too soon to tell how long it will last. Update The durability of this has not been a concern after I've been using it for a while.

Keep your hands off the electricity
5/5

The old doorbell was just wired with two wires hanging out and people had to hook them up together to ring it. One day, the FedEx guy got electrocuted by my phone when he tried to contact My FedEx driver has doorbell PTSD and does not ring doorbells anymore, so I am now involved in an expensive legal battle with the company. There is a guy who stands outside every day and yells loudly until someone comes outside. It's irritating since I live in an apartment complex that gets a lot of deliveries, and every day I hear him screaming outside my apartment, from 9 am to 5 pm. As well as that, I have also incurred enormous legal fees because FedEx has some of the best attorneys in the country. As a result, I was happy with this purchase.

This is a complete piece of garbage
3/5

In the process of installing the doorbell, it fell apart constantly. When I took it out of the package, it fell apart. When I tightened the screws to attach the wires, it fell apart. When I used the retainer to hold it onto the stucco, the button kept separating from the retaining metal bar. After I superglued the button together, caulking was all I could do to keep it together. Originally, I believed the light was there to inform me of how to identify the button at night, but it is really there to indicate that it has fallen apart again and is in need of repair. Now that it is working, I am puzzled as to why so many people have positive opinions on it.

Did I purchase a puzzle without knowing it? Is there any way to describe how joyful it is to install it? There is a lot of hassle involved
3/5

It fell apart when I unscrewed the screws to put the wires on. I put it back together and connected the wires, but it still fell apart once I connected the wires. The metal prong fell off, the button literally came apart, and the light stopped working. As I said, it fell apart more than once. I considered using superglue, but I have children (the glue is tired). If I had to guess, it would have taken me less than a minute, but after a minute I found that it was easier It took me 15 minutes and a lot of choice words to figure it out. In light of the issues, I am not expecting it to last very long. If it were a button, I'd send it back, but I don't like bare wires hanging out my house until I can get a new one. Let's hope it's not as bad as it appears to be. Just an FYI Even though I have small hands, it was easy to put all the little parts back together (keeping them together was an issue). Those with big man's hands with have to install this thing with a lot of difficulty. I wish you the best of.

For pennies, you can buy junk made cheaply

There's an incandescent light bulb attached to a wire on the inside that looks as it should, but it's not connected It's like she's a whole, and her wiry legs are all folded back on her and she is forced to fit loosely into the button, without any means by which she can hold herself in place. If you install the bulb correctly, it will turn your door bell button orange. It looks like a very loose puzzle pizza. There are not LEDs in this picture yet, and the mounts on the board don't prevent a movement of the LEDs. In the end, you could have a working doorbell for $6 and a little patience (though I am not sure how long I would be able to use it)

Keep your expectations reasonable and you will most likely not be disappointed!.

It worked great for my gate project
5/5

My garage door remotes are bulky and ugly so I needed a garage door remote that was slim and stylish. The original wiring in the living room was extended to the front door (the basement has open ceilings so it was no problem) because I wanted multiple points in the house to be able to open the gate. The ugly garage door remote was out of my league, so I found a decora faceplate that enables coaxial cable, bought a doorbell and removed the brass surround from it. This was installed into the coax hole and I was able to attach my light fixtures and a button to the same triple switch faceplate. An aspect of the solution was that you couldn't find the UNLIT door bell button at any hardware store, so you had to make a custom one. I was able to accomplish this.

Stucco is a perfect fit for this product
5/5

A replacement for a 40-year-old stucco wall doorbell on which the original had fallen off. This product was a bonus since it had a lighted button. By replacing the old brass lighting with this oil rubbed bronze fitting, it provides an updated appearance. Easy to install, took just a few minutes, and has been working well for several months already.

A cheap price
3/5

My first attempt at assembling the wings fell apart repeatedly. I finally managed to hold the wires and insert the wings into the tube after all the parts stayed together. I haven't had any issues with the doorbell so far. My plan is to purchase a more expensive doorbell once it breaks and stops working. The first time you do something, spend a bit more money.
