In the specs, it says "17 x 10 x 5 inches" but it is actually 10 inches thick, not 5 inches. There are 2 or less inches of thickness to it.

The shop fox 1830 is compatible with these filters?

I have the WEN air filter model, which I do not know about.

Does the thickness of the outer filter differ from the specifications above? Mine measures about 1 inch thick, but the specifications show 17 x 10 x 5. ?

They may differ in size, but both must use this 421mm x 241mm x 45mm The T10504 grizzly filter can be replaced for less money using this I went to the Grizzly website, and it shows the dimensions Sadly, I couldn't find the exact dimensions of this Wen product. I've switched to regular furnace filters and they're working just fine

They cost $5 each instead of the $15 charged here by Wen. These filters are great, but I switched to regular furnace filters and they're working just fine. The fact that I am more likely to replace a full filter now is beneficial to A UPDATED VERSION The OEM filters were preventing dust from getting into the secondary filter, so I had to switch back to them. Directly from Wen's site, you can get a steep discount if you order in bulk.

I use it with my Grizzly air cleaner and it works well

An Air Cleaner Grizzly G0738 is installed in my workshop. My only complaint is that Grizzly wants much more for replacement filters than I like. Amazon has these, and I am pleased to have found them there. Their fit is perfect and they work believe the Wen, Shop Fox, Grizzly, and perhaps other models are all the same thing with slightly By far, the lowest price I found for the exact same item was with them. It is certain that more of these will be purchased.

I was unable to acquire a Rikon product support for their filtration units, so I decided to get a WEN two pack for this filter hoping that it would fit my Rikon device. My favorite feature was the price and the fact that it came in a two pack, which I appreciate for future filter changes.

While they fit, there is no quality to speak of

Although they fit, the quality of the shoes isn't up to par The parenthesis. There is a tendency for the plastic to tear/rip/fall apart when you look at them with the wrong angle. Not sure why they didn't make them a bit stronger. Aren't they able to sling stronger plastic on such a high price?
I own a few WEN products and I have been very happy with them. It is clear that these filters are not being made.

Filtering the air in a wood shop is recommended

The WEN air filter I bought for my woodshop works great. The dust collection system I have is designed to collect dust from the equipment- Obviously, with these filters and secondary HEPAs on the air filtration system, a lot of dust is collected! This filter prevents dust from getting into the more expensive HEPA. Having worked for a day in the shop, I noticed that the air was much clearer. In addition to being good for my lungs, this is also great for.

My favourite part of the filters is how much difference they make. If the blower using the filter wasn't so loud, I would appreciate it. A little over four years ago, I purchased four Wen air filtration systems. after a year, so I may be able to repair it, but I never looked at why no power could be so simple, two run great, and one is making a resonating sound like the fan shaft/bearing is wearing out. The software works well and I don't have to use allergies or inhalers if I leave it Likewise, there is significantly less dust on the ceiling fans and main air conditioning.
