In MERV scales, the size of the particles that can be filtered is indicated. In general, the higher the number, the smaller the particles filtered (like a MERV 11 filter trapping The better filter may seem to be that, but it's not the best to use for home systems because it makes the furnace and air conditioner work harder to pull the air through. There is a manual in your system that will tell you what is best for it. Despite having allergies and cats, I find that the MERV 8 is the most effective and efficient for what I need for filtration and air flow. Here is what I hope will help!

In my experience, I always save money by using cheap filters and replacing them more frequently, as a friend who works in HVAC says it makes the unit more efficient. (At work, the units are always being serviced for this reason. ) We had a hard time finding the filters needed when we bought our house, since we only found them at a local store, where they cost $35 or more each. They are all "higher quality" allergy air filters on sale for $50 each, which in turn require some extra effort from the machine. All of the stores I checked did not offer generic or economy options. These were the results I found For less than the price of two filters in the store, I get three filters for the same price! It's great to get 3 for this price. As previously mentioned, I was not aware of the filter aspect at the time of my move because my heating system was always baseboard. I started having trouble breathing and my asthma was acting up after about 6 months. It has been revealed that these are only valid for eight months at most. This one was so filthy I had to take it out. The filters caught a lot of dirt and debris and were of solid construction within a week, so air quality has been great ever since. The terrain is deep and pleet. Every 8 months or so, I change my clothes. The next time I order, I will order from you. This is a highly recommended book.
There's a misunderstanding with the sizes. These filters are a good deal bigger than what's written. Since I have been buying the same size filters from different companies and based on sales, I have been buying different kinds of filters. My last time, I purchased the furnace filters from a furnace company that came to clean it for me. The rest all fit just fine. But this one I could not force into place. It's important to note that these are the cheapest of the group. Sending all 3 of them back to UPS also proved to be a chore. UPS is backed up right now because everyone is returning and sending the Christmas gifts that they received.
The size of the product is a little off, as some other reviews mention. You should be able to insert it if you have some wiggle room in your unit. Despite the tight fit, mine was comfortable. was able to get it to fit, but it was difficult. It arrived in good condition, was shipped quickly, and was packaged nicely.
