Buying these 3 times is not unusual for me. A very fine white dust has been spread across the entire room from floor to ceiling after my last box arrived! During the past two months I have been cleaning the filters every month, and my house is full of dust as a result. There is the same white dust on the ridges of the filters that is all over my house now! I have taken the filters out and you can run your hand over them because they are covered in it! This is very discouraging. The dust around my house is causing me health problems, and my family breathes it in. It took us a while to figure out what was causing the dust. I ordered a new box. This item (20x25x2 MERV 8) and others from Nordic Pure have been purchased by me in the past. In comparison with a filter from my previous order, I found the new filter to be more effective. Instead of the usual white box branded with company logos, the filters were packaged in a brown box with no company logo. On the inside, the filters seemed to be of less quality (although a loose flyer indicated they were I think they could have been made by another company.
