There are significant differences between manufacturers when it comes to 20"x25"x5" filters! For reference, I measured my old filter multiple times to ensure that I got the exact same filter as the old one. I am running a 20x25x5 filter, but my existing and new filters are different. They are not the same size as the exact 20x25x5 filter. The same issue occurred in my furnace when I was just 3/8 of an inch off. In my case, I fudged my answers, as it didn't make sense to return them. These are some of my suggestions Your existing brand will fit you well if it already is. you use another brand, be careful to measure very carefully, and be aware that things fit together much more tightly than you might expect. The Amazon filter sellers need to provide the precise dimensions, so people can judge whether another brand will fit well without having to read through hundreds of product reviews. It is important to note that my three stars do not reflect defects in the Lennox filters that I received. It's just a red flag to someone like me who might think that a 20x25x5 filter truly does have these precise measurements and is interchangeable this is just a yellow flag.

A PSA DEALS representative handled the order. I did not open the box when the filters arrived, because it looked ok at first glance (my own fault, which I will not repeat in the future). Sadly, I opened both filters to find they had both been crushed and were completely useless six months later when I needed a new filter. As it had been too long since PSA DEALS had done anything for me, they would not do anything for me. Even with the images of the filters included in my response, I feel this is a negative response. I will not use PSA DEALS again regardless of what a good deal it appears to be.
It turns out that the Lennox filters are the only ones that actually fit, despite other manufacturers telling you otherwise. There is a good chance that it will not fit unless it is a Lennox. I found this filter to do exactly what I wanted and it did.
