They have the Honeywell model number on them along with the Honeywell name. Nevertheless, there are only 12 folds and pleats instead of 16 There are 17 in the picture of the product. In comparison to those shown in the product picture, this would mean a reduction in surface area by 25% or more. Unlike some other filters, these Honeywell filters have the longest side pleated instead of the shorter side. This usage of pleating on the longer side requires less fabric and space than pleating on the shorter side. When these run out, I will look for other brands with more pleats and folds along the shorter side (for example, the one made by FilterBuy on the bottom in the attached picture is more pleated than that made by Honeywell on.
A. First things first There are four and a half inches of thickness to these filters. These Honeywell product numbers have been ordered several times, and all of the items have been labelled four inches or five I contacted the seller here and received a quick response that they, too, receive many questions regarding the dimensions of this filter. A 20"x25"x4" would be ideal if you are searching for such a product. YOU WILL GET THESE filters if you buy a 5" filter. The second point is The filter is a high quality MERV 11 filter that is perfect for cleaning airflow in residential homes. Following an upgrade a couple years ago from a lower MERV rating filter, I am extremely pleased with the filtration results. It is being used in a new Carrier high efficiency furnace with a blower motor that is powered by a DC battery. ****Third - *** The price with this seller is very attractive. My search for a cheaper per-filter price came up empty. Aside from the above, we have the following as fourths My order was delivered quickly to a remote location using this seller, and I had no problems with them answering any questions. I would highly recommend this book.
Having to spend so much money on these HEPA filters is really frustrating, but they are effective and expensive everywhere, and I cannot live without them. Past experiences have taught me not to go generic on these since the cheaper alternatives aren't as good The MERV ratings on brand-named ones are usually smaller than the ones from other brands. The furnace filters used in this unit are genuine Honeywell HEPA filters and come with a MERV 11 rating. Since I do a replacement every six months, this shipment will last me twice as long. We've been doing this for five It only took 2 days for them to arrive at my door, and it was free.
There's no way I'm going to pay $125 for just one filter, even though this is advertised as a five-pack. In all, I received one filter and waited a week to see if the others came, but no other than.
The filters are fine and function well, but the size makes them unique, so you have to use these when there are cheaper brands that are just It appears that manufacturers just round to the nearest inch, and not all filters with the same size actually measure the same size. I bought this size from another manufacturer, but it was slightly smaller in most of its measurements. When you are shopping, be sure to pay careful attention to the size. It might be cheaper to buy these in bulk, but they take up a lot of space and are The good thing is that you only have to change these once or maybe twice a year, so that takes the pain out.
There were no damages in the packaging and no damage when it arrived, but the individual filters were wrapped in a plastic bag in which they were shipped. It is unlikely that Honeywell and/or 3M would package it without the product description paper. Even the panels in the filter do not match the originals. I'm going to use one and see who it works with, but I can't tell how it'll perform. There's a good chance I won't be buying this product.
The price point is the best I've found for this type of filter. I've been very happy with them. As far as the boiler room is concerned, I like to keep extra filters on hand to do all the choirs at the same time. The water filter should be changed, the softener salt should be added, and the HVAC filter should also be changed.
As such, the box must have been damaged when they were placed inside. As it was my third attempt at getting the correct size, we'll use them this time around.
