The question is unclear. Oh my gosh! Look at those pleats! Filtering will be impossible when they are set up The filter replacement will come from Amazon, and hopefully it will not be the same as the old one.

The 1420-series were purchased to replace the previous one There is only one filter and it is too wide and will not fit the opening in the filter. The amount of money flushed down the toilet is staggering. Standardize the 1420-size filter size so anyone can rely on it when it needs to be replaced There are 201 filters that can be installed. A temporary fix was to strip the cardboard around the sides/edges of the vacuum chamber to seat the filter. You can see how little (and how much) of a difference in size there is. It was very disappointing because we wanted something more than just dust and lint to filter. Then I went to a local hardware store and bought a 1420-inch fan (much simpler and much less expensive) There is a clear difference between this filter and the 01 FILTRETE It's not clear to me why companies like 3M don't understand how to create universal standards?.

For residential systems, this is supposed to be one of the best filters available. Prices are based on current market conditions. Similarly to other pictures already posted on Amazon, the pleats on the two filters on my goggles were clumped and stuck together. My picture looked the same as yours. If a filter's pleats are stuck or clumped together, then it's obvious that it will significantly decrease effectiveness and air flow through Quality control appears to be poor. It is my intention not to purchase further filters from Filtrete.

These filters are excellent - I'm very happy with them Since I started using these, there has been a noticeable change in air quality. I live on the Big Island of Hawaii and currently we are experiencing significant air quality problems due to the volcano's eruption. The filters have worked exceptionally well for everyone in my office suffering from VOG.

As a buyer, I am very disappointed in this purchase and in the seller as well. Having just moved into a brand new house with an HVAC, I'd like to share my experiences. We moved into a house that had been sitting for months because the builders and landlord had not cleaned it. As a result of my CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome) and MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) and having lived in an extremely toxic environment just recently, I recently developed these conditions. I am in the process of healing and there are many things that are vital to that, including the proper purification and filtration of air that one would need if they were at their healthiest.
While I was searching, I came across MERV 14 Filters that people have recommended. I was ecstatic about this because I know that anything that helps me along the path to healing is a big plus. Upon receiving them within two days, I was dismayed to find that the two packs had been packaged together in an unprotected manner. As it will be exposed to the elements for 3 months, and as my furnace is in the garage closet, it would have been nice to have had adequate packaging to keep it dry. It's just that I could have handled it myself. In my opinion, the main reason for my rating of 1 star is because the pleats are warped in more than one way. In both, the pleats are squished together, slanted and not even straight. The wave formations on either are the same, but they are different sizes and not the same shape. There is no such thing as a cheap filter. The prices here are nowhere near worth it! I don't mind paying a fair price for quality items, but these are nowhere close! Get a better deal by purchasing directly.

One of the cards will be left unprotected if you tear it to take one out. The filters should be wrapped well until they are ready to use, so this is definitely not cool. Please see 2. There are 1 filter for each of these The size of the ring is too big by 2 millimeters. The A/C system in our home has been 3 years old, and up until recently we used basic filters purchased I found them to be absolutely perfect. The ones we have here are just one apiece There is a 2 mm difference between the dimensions published on the packaging (I held one up to my HD filter and realized it was bigger) and they don't Since we tried to push the filter as far as we could, there is now a small gap that the filter cannot cover, meaning unfiltered air will continue to enter our system. A very disappointing result!.

The air in my apartment must be as clean as possible in order for us to enjoy it. Therefore, I've been using Filtrete filters for a long time now. This seems to be a better choice than the filters supplied by the condo. For the master bedroom filter, I replace it every 30 to 40 days, while for the other two filters in the apartment, I change them I see 54 to $59 as a range. an unpleasant experience with an Amazon rep, I decided to test the difference between the 2800 filter and the 3M told me that the 2800 captures 96% of particles, while the 2200 captures 94% and the 1500 captures 90%. In the end, the representative at 3M was unable to explain the difference, but instructed me to call 3M if I had any more questions (which I will do). A 3M representative answered that "3M will not be able to tell you the difference and you may not notice" and that it's difficult to determine, since 3M is not aware of which particles are in your home, what is outside, how often the air is circulated, etc. Considering the information I have, I am not sure whether I will keep buying the 2800 for the master bedroom, but I will definitely buy the 2200 or the 1500 for another room in the apartment (depending on their relative prices). We like the windows partially open in winter, so the filter in the other room does not get as dirty as the one in the master bedroom perhaps that is why the filter in the master bedroom does not get as dirty. Internet is another place I'll look for the best price. In reviewing the 2800 filter, I compared its price and efficiency against the Filtrete 2200 and 1500 filters, and that is the only reason I did not give this filter a 5-star rating.

Due to high pollen counts and allergies, I replaced my previous filters with these ones. I found it to be incredibly helpful. When Alaska started burning, a storm swept through the state. There is no improvement in the air quality. We had the windows closed, but I was able to get rid of the smoke smell in a couple of hours. We didn't buy them for this purpose, but this shows how great they are. Before you install your new window, make sure you get a good seal around the edges. Using painters tape, I taped the walls.
