My AC filter is always dirty so I buy these on subscribe and save so I will remember to change it. I think these are effective for the job. Due to the lack of carpet in my home, any and all dust or fur (I have 2 dogs) will slide around easily and get soaked into the returns. I've had no problems with these and I always find tons of dirt on the filter when I replace it, so it seems to work fine. Among the things I like about these is the fact that they are fairly durable. The cardboard in other brands won't hold up to the elements as well, and after a week, the cardboard will bend and then be sucked into the unit, causing gaps where dust and other particles can enter. I no longer have to worry about the quality of these because they stay sturdy the entire time.

These filters are the first filters I've ever heard make noise in my return. I woke up my kids as soon as I installed this vent because the vent started whistling and making a loud sucking noise. The reusable filter I had was thrown away by my wife, so I needed replacements. It is very easy to apply, and I believe they will remove dust and other airborne particles much better than my previous filters. One of the reusable ones we had was riddled with gaps. While the airflow was good, the amount of air that was captured seemed to be quite limited. As for the new ones, they look good and I just need to remember to change them at least three.

I found the filter to be the correct size, but the actual filter was wrinkled. The shipping container appeared to be fine, it looks like it was put in like this. Whenever the system is turned on, two of the three filters come in like this, which makes the system collapse. There is no indication if this is a quality control issue or if it is just a shipment issue.

The HomeDepot Honeywell brand looks identical to the Honeywell brand I own, and they are the exact same size as the HomeDepot brand. I wasn't expecting them to be an inch smaller, but they are the same size. This brand appears to be similar to one I buy from the big box store. They fit perfectly and are of similar quality. As we see them in action, we will know how they work.

There's a lot of dust in the room where I'm having foundation repair work done. Whenever the workers leave the premises at the end of the day, I can turn on the air conditioning. You should not expect to use the filters for more than a week before the work is completed.

A prior purchase of four of these filters was made earlier in the In the package, I had removed one of the 4 and left the others in the plastic wrap that they arrived The first filter I replaced this morning was a new one. I then removed a second one from the package, only to discover that a used filter was sandwiched between the two new ones. Those who had used this filter even provided a date of its use. A disgusting and unacceptable act!.

The quality was good for the price. Next time I must get an even more powerful filter since we have 3 cats and live in Texas, where it is dusty and you open the air conditioner constantly. A good one for those with allergies and asthma is needed. Even after a couple of weeks of using the filter, my home was already dirty, but it is a large house.
