This will cause your system to sound louder than normal. On the Amazon listing, it should be made clear what the actual size is. Because of the great reviews, I decided to take a chance on them although the vents are far too small for the return vent. As long as you don't come up with a creative way to do this, you'll have throbbing sounds from filters getting sucked up and dropped back down every time the AC runs on and off.

I have a habit of inspecting my filters weekly and I can tell that they are excellently made, and they are obviously capturing much more dust and particles than expected. A frequent change DOES benefit your system, including a reduced strain on the blower, since your blower doesn't have to work so hard to provide air volume! Getting these for such a low price makes the decision much easier for me, and I will save on my electricity bills since my motor is no longer working harder and longer to reach my temperature! In my case, I bought a small case of these terrible filters, which I started using several months after receiving them, thus having passed the return window. The filters do not have merv ratings, so you do not know what they mean. Moreover, there is no marking on the filters. It is as well that the company won't tell you if they sold you a filter with a lower MERV if it runs out of filters of higher MERV. Please take my advice not to buy this product. I am switching to Filtrete again.
We tried finding our hard-to-find product but were unable to find it. With these gems on Amazon, I was able to find filters that fit the same filter size in name brand filters that had a higher MERV rating than 8. fast, and the quality of these products is evident from the moment you pull them out of their packaging. The filter material we receive from our landlord is thicker and softer than the one we receive We are experiencing a huge reduction in dust in our home, which means the air filters are performing their job well at filtering dust, pollen, and other allergens out of my air ducts and making allergy season a lot more comfortable for our family.
