For my Armstrong furnace, I needed a replacement board for the ST9120B system. In either case, the local supply houses did not have the part or refused to sell it to me because I did not have a working account. When I inquired with my local Armstrong dealer, he wanted $350 to sell the part. I went on Amazon and purchased the part for As soon as I went to install it, I noticed that the wiring diagram on page 9 Plug J1 didn't match the wiring on my current furnace. As soon as I called Honeywell's tech support, the tech there knew exactly what I needed. I talked to him and he told me that Honeywell had not corrected the wiring diagrams yet, so many calls come in regarding The board is excellent and well constructed, but the wiring diagram was incorrect. I would have given this product 5 stars if the wiring diagram had been correct.
Whenever an AC system breaks, it is often at a time when it's difficult to be without it, which is logical since you wouldn't know it had failed if it weren't off. As a result of logic like this, I am able to live a happy, fulfilled life.
But how did I get The air conditioning didn't work. Oh yeah. Although the outside compressor turned on and the connections between the inside and the outside were cold, the old furnace blower wouldn't turn on anymore in order Even so, the blower would function with the furnace turned The problem seemed to be a fan control board issue, as all the individual components had always worked in conjunction, but not at the right time. After doing diligent internet research, the fan control board appeared to be at fault. Having ordered this product, and having gone through the instructions, I swapped about 20 different wires from the old board to the new one, and then what do you know! The problem still persists. We were not able to use it. When I went back to read the instructions I realized I had forgotten to plug in the plug with the jumper wire. I thought I was being so cautious. I made a dumb mistake. It took a few minutes for the blower to work again with the compressor after plugging it in. Having a product that does what you need it to do makes life so much easier.
Forced air furnace had to be replaced with a new circuit board. There was a discontinuation of the old part. The new ST9120U from Honeywell that I installed was a universal part. It worked great, and Furance was up and running soon after. I ordered from this seller, and I was pleased with both the speed of delivery and how well it was packed. I appreciate it.
