The functionality was as expected. My furnace's "1 size fits all" pressure switch was again the cause of failure when I tested it for the second time in a year and decided to buy this OEM part that had lasted 9 years. I am pleased with how the heating season has gone so far. The generic, which was installed by the contractor in an emergency, only lasted for one season. It's been about 4 to 5 years since my Goodman furnace (which is about 4 or 5 years old) was originally installed I am 70 PF (whatever that is). Despite the fact that the part number, PF number, and part name differ, it completely fit. This version of the part is a newer revision designed by Goodman to replace the original one. It cost me $11 to order the pressure switch after I paid him the service fee. Due in part to Thanksgiving, it took a week for it to arrive. We didn't freeze because I ran the fireplace and furnace some of the time, and I also ran the furnace during the time it rained.
