The cap on one of the caps is 5/16-inches in diameter There is one thread with 24 threads and one thread with 3/8-inch threads The thread count is 24.

It's a good idea to buy these every four or five You will need to shut off the exterior water valves if you have them You need to buy these every five to eight years for draining

The bolts come with a gasket, so they can be tightened with a wrench and maybe a quarter-turn. Since they're brass and are supposed to last for more than five years, I'd rather pay $2 for them rather than skip the water. To prevent any leaks, install a 50 mm valve.

An end drain hole is too close to the other My pliers were needed to tighten these down but I managed to do so so that the drain hole would be This cap would be much better if the hole for the drain were closer to the middle or on the open end
