This vent is where I get return air for my air handler from this vent. The start of the duct can be seen on the wall of my basement. A 6 inch AC Infinity fan is attached to the AC Infinity flex duct, which then runs into the return air trunk through some more flax duct. I had bought a vent from Home Depot before that had a whistle because of the way it was designed. A problem like this is not present in this one. The construction of this item is sturdy metal. You are advised to be aware that the outer "trim" is quite large if you are going to use this near baseboards or trim, you need to keep that in mind. If you care about the packaging, AC Infinity products always arrive very well packed.
It was hard to find vent, this one worked and the problem is now.
I used it to cover a hole in my ceiling.
It is well built and looks good. Exactly what we expected.
The problem is that it cannot be adjusted.
