Actually- It has the ability to be hung on the wall. I was going to put a shelf on top to put things on, but I just use the flat surface on top as a shelf, and it doesn't bow or even notice that something is sitting on top; Olive oil, vinegar, spices, and coffee, for example, all store well in the upper shelves. The only issue is that the heat from the cooking surface has caused the olive oil to become slightly warm. But, as far as I'm aware, this is true of every cabinet above the range. This is something I highly recommend; you will not be disappointed! Plus, I don't have a way to let off steam, and it still works flawlessly.
I believe there are two. It says so in the description.
This is a strict no-no. range hood with ducts A charcoal filter comes standard with the 412404 model. It is impossible to wash charcoal filters. They've got to go.

It was incredibly simple to put together, and it is extremely light. incredibly strong I also use it as a shelf, which I didn't intend to do and it's probably not designed for, but in a tiny house-- The next thing I knew, I had all of my spices, oils, vinegar, sugar, and other items neatly stacked on it as a shelf, and it held everything without hesitation. This unit is fantastic! I can't say enough good things about it! You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.
Before I could install the cabinet, I needed to add an additional plank of wood to the underside as a base. It was a simple job that could be completed by a single person. I changed the wiring to make it a plug-and-play device. The range hood is very quiet when using a three-prong computer cord, but I'm not sure how powerful the cfms are compared to the advertised rating. I would never recommend a recirculating range hood, but there are no other options due to the stove's location. The air must be cleaned through the filter. Those who fry frequently should avoid this recipe.
Instead, go to your local Home Depot and get this. It will cost you less money, and you will be able to see exactly what you are purchasing. It claims to be ADA compliant, but I don't believe this is the case. The controls are located at the very top of the screen. This product also has a photo attached to it, which I believe was taken by someone who bought it. Although the photo suggests that you could use these as a ceiling mount, you won't be able to reach the controls that way, and you'll have an unsightly open back if you place it over a kitchen peninsula counter, as I did. Because the back isn't finished, it's really only good for under the cabinet against the wall. Dealing with the seller was a complete pain. I was able to return it with the help of Amazon Prime.
If you want to put this hood up with the help of a power drill, There is a major design flaw in the power cord adapter that makes installation unnecessarily difficult. br>br>The power cord adapter has a connector that is approximately 3/4" x 3/4". It snaps into place ABOVE a hole in the hood's right rear. This necessitates drilling a one-inch hole. inch hole in the shelf or cabinet above the hood for the snap-on hood. in piece. The connector will be more-than 3/4" thick if your shelf or cabinet base is 3/4" thick, as mine is. The top of the shelf is not as flush as it could be. So far, so good. br>br>BUT. To install the hood, hold it up to the light, mark the screw holes, and then put it aside. Almost all of the screws should be in place. The hood is then slid into the screws (horizontally) via keyhole slots in the hood's top, and the screws are tightened. It's very simple. EXCEPT that the hood cannot be slid in horizontally with the cord adapter protruding from the top. You'd think that you'd put the hood on first, then the cord adapter. THIS CANNOT BE DONE. The snap- The cord's drop, twist, coax, or wiggle in mechanism isn't going to work. You must get your fingers all the way down to the top of the hood, where it snaps into place. If you only have a one-bedroom apartment, there's no room for that. a hole of inch If you're using the cord adapter, you'll need to (a) drill a hole large enough for your fingers in the shelf or cabinet above the hood, or (b) drill a hole in the shelf or cabinet below the hood. (a) Put the adapter into the hood first (not a good idea if you're going to use the shelf), OR (b) Put the adapter into the shelf or cabinet first (not a good idea if you're going to use the shelf). Fit the adapter into the hole and raise the hood into the shelf (vertically). This means the hood cannot be slid into the screws horizontally. The screws must be inserted while the hood is held in place. Despite its lightness, the hood has a lot of power. This is a major source of discomfort. This completely defeats the purpose of the keyhole slots, which were created to make the installation process as simple as possible. br>br>In conclusion, the power- The use of a cord adapter necessitates the raising of the hood (i. e. , into the shelf or cabinet above it vertically. The hood, on the other hand, is made to be slid in horizontally. As a result, there's a major flaw in the design. br>br>Once you've installed the hood, making the electrical connection is a breeze. And the hood is in good working order. br>br>Marie Burnsbr>.
I'd prefer it to be a little quieter, but for the price, I won't complain.
The item was well packaged and in perfect condition when it arrived. If you're handy, installation was simple and straightforward. A second person is required to hold the unit in order to locate mounting screws to the underside of kitchen cabinets. A basic understanding of electrical polarities is required (black is hot, white is neutral, and green is ground). As intended, the unit is working well. The precut through wiring knock-on is a minor stumbling block. It's difficult to punch your way out.
This is an excellent ventless hood.
Functions decently and looks nice ) In addition, the wiring enclosure isn't completely sealed and is frequently in the path of stove exhaust, so it'll most likely be grease-infested as well. If I need to go inside for any reason, I'm covered. Despite all of this, I only paid $75 in total, which is a bargain. end of the range in terms of price for a range hood.
