Questions & Answers
If the unit is not self-contained, the grease filter is replaced by a charcoal filter. ducted.
The 357NDK is a non-destructive testing kit. The range hood can be re-purposed with the help of a duct kit. Air should be circulated. It should be directed back into the kitchen in the manner in which it was intended. You don't want to get tangled up in the attic or in the next room. It takes in the grease and then blows the air out through the ductwork into the room for non-recirculating systems. I hope that was clear.

' This product's naming convention is off; it comes with extensions into a soffit duct, but I'm trying to convert my Broan fan system to a recirculating fan, which means I don't have any duct work to connect to. So the only component I required was a new charcoal filter.
In any case, you'll have to. It's more of a recirculation starter kit than anything else. There are only enough parts to get you started, as the directions make clear. Nothing can keep you out of the cabinet for long. And then there's the grill. What are you talking about? Who thought it was a good idea to take a floor vent from someone's trailer and package it with a custom hood recirc kit? I recommend taking a look at these components and purchasing only what you require from a hardware store. This effectively creates an elbow that blows air at a 90-degree angle while remaining INSIDE YOUR CABINET.
Our kitchen was done by my husband, who works on high-end homes. He got it and created his own hood to go with it. It looks great and is a lot less expensive than the alternatives.
I decided to open today because the cabinets had recently been reorganized. There are no rules. Because the cabinets had just arrived, I decided to open today. Yesterday was the last day for returning items. This is a project that we are attempting to complete on our own. Why are parts for "ducting this through a cabinet or wall" available? The filter is all that is required. I have the impression that I have been duped.
There's no easy way to join the pieces together. There are no tabs to connect the vent cover and the housing.
Although ducted exhaust fans are always preferable, at this price point, a ductless exhaust fan will suffice. One advantage is that the light bulb is easily accessible, unlike my previous model.
The filter was not compatible with their hood ventilation system, and the grill resembled a cheap floor register.
as I had anticipated.
