After researching the problem, I ordered this switch for my 80 series older washer that would not drain. All the reviews I read before making my decision influenced my decision. I was surprised that the package arrived earlier than I expected and in good condition. It took me less than 30 minutes to watch a YouTube video on how to install it. During that time, I also cleaned the internals of the washer. The part fit perfectly and was easy to was proud of myself for being able to get through it even though I'm 55 years old! I cannot get the spin cycle to work on my washing machine. It turns out that the switch wasn't making a clicking noise as soon as the lid closed. first, I extended the lid pin by putting a piece of tubing on top of During a week or two, that switch appeared to work, and then the switch stopped working. The Kenmore 90 Series top loader I own is from the 90 Series. It was really easy to replace this. The endcaps on the instrument panel should come off easily. Two screws need to be removed. You can now tilt back the instrument panel. The front cover of the washer must then be removed after unclipping the wire harness. It's easy to replace the switch because it's easily accessible. I just plugged in my third switch this morning. There are several reasons why the washer is not lasting, including the switch design or the washer design. Several years of working on the original lid switch finally led to its failure. As a result of my diagnosis, the issue has been resolved There was just a problem with the switch, not the machine. When I found that part on Amazon, I thought I had nothing to lose and lots to save if I didn't have to call someone to repair our washing machine. This part allowed me to enter my model number to see if it would fit - it did. The result was positive. A few minutes was all it took to replace the device. I had to re-read the article more than once The cover should be aligned back into the slot The entire project was completed by me alone. We have our machine back in operation! I cannot speak to its longevity, but ours is back in working order.

I thought it was a good product, and it was fairly easy to install if you are mechanically inclined and check the internet on how to do it, but it lasted only a couple of months before breaking. From the outside, it appeared to be fine, but inside you couldn't hear the switch moving at all. Since it was completely sealed, I have no idea why the switch went bad. Another one is on the way and I'll try it New ones are made to last, so here's hoping they do.

My Kenmore 90 was equipped with this product. I am happy that I installed the extension cord as it works great. My washer is back to its old self now. It was the right part except the plastic sleeve around the wires was about twice as long as the original part. I am not sure if that was a result of being shipped an incorrect part by Amazon in the beginning or if the seller packaged the wrong items. As far as I know, the connector and switch aren't defective the only problem is the length of the enclosure. With a diameter twice as large as the original, it was impossible to install the part as designed It was fortunate that the sleeve was split lengthwise to allow the wires to be inserted even though the sleeve had already been split. To remove the excessive hair, a simple operation had to be performed Remove the long sleeve and replace it with the other sleeve from the original part. Now everything should work fine.

It is nice that you can get this part at such a low price, but I have put in two so far, and the second one lasted four This one only lasted from May to August. The return period is one month, so you get an idea of how long it will last. The original came with it and lasted 10 years the second one lasted one year and this one lasted from May to August.

While installing it was easy, there was something a little off about it. It was too delicate or not long enough, I had to open the door, flick the switch a few times, and then close it, to make it work. After that, it worked, but if I turned it off while loading, it would not work. At times, I have to open and close the door several times before the switch registers. By the time I can find a new switch from a different brand, I will probably have to charge something to the door just so that it turns on the switch when I close it.
