The 6601ER1006E Washing Machine Level Sensor Pressure Switch and the 5220FR2006H Washing Machine Hot Water Valve are the parts that resolved the constant running water issue. The parts were closer to 80 dollars each.
I believe so, but for sure make sure you purchase the appropriate part code 5220FR2006H (this valve) or 5220FR2008F if you require another valve as both are utilized by
A few days ago, I purchased the part. The sound of the hot water valve opening is like a train whistle in an old cowboy movie. An inquiry has been sent to the vendor to check if the product is faulty. Is there anything you did about the noise? If you had it, what did you do about it? In advance, I would appreciate it.

Water was leaking from the bottom right side of our Kenmore Elite washing machine, which was made by LG. It wasn't the only one experiencing this problem. were unable to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem, but eventually we were able to see an FE error, which indicates a fill error on the washing machine. Be careful that your valve doesn't go out open when they go out they can go out closed as well, so make sure there is no open valve that filled up the drum until the washer realized what was happening and threw an When you open the door, as happened to us, a lot of water will fly everywhere, which is why it's so dangerous. Drain the washer by using the drain hose at the bottom left of the front panel so this does not cause any problems. As a result we emptied almost 11 one gallon buckets from our before it was full. Taking care to disconnect the fill hoses and drain them into a bucket before removing four screws from the back of the top panel, I then turned off the water. As soon as the panel is removed, it can be accessed easily by inserting a small hand tool. This hot inlet valve did not appear to be leaking, but it was showing signs of rust, so we replaced it along with the cold inlet valves that were leaking. As a preliminary step, I marked each hose and connector for the valves with a Sharpie and took a photo (see attachment). Afterwards, I placed a container on top of the drum for water that might drain out of the hoses and began removing the hoses by squeezing their clamps with pliers and leaving them in the bowl over the drum. I removed two screws from each valve and they came loose from the cabinet after all were removed. Firstly, I used pipe dope to cover the new valves and slid them through the cabinet opening, following which I secured them with I reconnected the black hoses to each of the inlet valves after installing the new valves, and then double-checked that everything was functioning as it should. The numbers were checked to ensure the accuracy of the report. You will now need to tighten the fill hoses, but be aware that it is easy to damage a valve if you overtighten it. Use slip-on wrenches to tighten then a pair of pliers to ease it loose. To tighten it further, twist it another 2/3 turn or so with the joint pliers. All things considered, this was an inexpensive and easy repair, though I feel the washer has had problems too soon since it had been installed less than four years ago.
would simply stop running after 7 minutes, just before the final rinse and spin would start, and would tell it to continue running while the rinse water ran. The LCD screen does not display any code. There was a good reason for replacing the washer that has been in my household for 11 years. However, I did some Google searching and found that this part, or LG part # 5220FR2008F, may be the likely culprit. Several YouTube videos made the installation look easy, so it made sense that the fix was Having finally gotten the right parts, I replaced them both in about 20 minutes and now the washing works perfectly. If you want to put the hose ends back on and clamp them, spray them with a little silicone before doing so. By doing so, it will be much easier to place the hoses.
As described by serial 1 star reviewers, this OEM hot water inlet valve works like it should without any of the jumping bumping thumping squealing screaming train issues. When it was going down the assembly line in South Korea, LG put the exact same valve in the washing machine, and it's the same valve for which a LG authorized appliance repair company will charge you $250+ if they do it for you here in United States. Having used the same appliance repair company for 30+ years, I often refer them to clients who need something done. The $250 price is based on their price when referring them to clients. Besides charging $99 to show up, the labor rate is $75 per hour plus they mark up the parts 100%. You need a referral to call without a wait time of at least four hours. Do yourself a favor and purchase this valve yourself. It takes the same amount of time to pull the washer away from the wall, disconnect the hot water hose, reconnect the hose, and push the machine back into place as it does to switch Using the couple hundred bucks you save on the replacement of a hot water inlet valve could be better spent on the protein of your choice for the grill (right now, I'm thinking ribs) and some refreshing ice cold adult beverages to celebrate the job well done.
If it works as it should, then I don't mind. I just wonder if the verbage included in the box and the lack of brand markings on the box have anything to do with the fact that the color of this part differs from that of the original equipment valve. It remains to be seen. Here are the pictures of the old OEM part removed and the new, new part installed. It will take 5 minutes to install This will take you a few minutes to complete and will require a Phillips screwdriver, a pair of pliers, ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN - It is day two and a half since I started using the system, and it sounds like it is fired by a machine gun when water passes through. There's a lot of water hammer in this, so we're returning it. It seems I now know the answer to the question of whether the part is actually from LG. I am disappointed, but never Often times, most of these sellers will pay their reviewers for a positive review, which is then displayed first. Do your research and sort the reviews by star rating. As I mentioned, you will often hear the same complaint as mine the valve is loud, whistles, and is most certainly NOT an OEM part. Save yourself the time and aggravation and take time to make sure what you're ordering is an OEM part.
