Upon installing the lint trap for my Kenmore washer/ dryer (#131359600) it
The screen on this clothes dryer measures 12" x 2". I don't know the model number of your dryer, but it does measure To be sure this is not the proper lint screen for your model, I would recommend doing a Google search for "lint screen" with your clothes dryer model number. There was a problem getting a replacement lint filter for my Kenmore 41794702300 Washer / Dryer Combo set. I tried out several different ones that I found online, but none of them worked. In an online reference, I saw that the original filter was replaced with one with the same part number as this Frigidaire, so I took a chance on it. There is no problem with it and it.
As I was ordering this part, I entered the actual Gibson part number I needed and it was replaced by this one. As soon as the part arrived following the wait of at least two weeks, I ordered the part. When I opened the package, however, the part looked imperfect, but I thought, maybe it will work after all. When it came to installation of the part, the only way to see if it fit was to open the plastic it was in and try to install it. The part failed to fit and could not be used. My company provided a return authorization and I received it, but they stipulated in their instructions that they would not accept any returns that are not in the original packaging from manufacture. As a result, I am now the proud owner of a dryer filter screen that I cannot.
Around the filter, there were wires sticking out. In one case it stuck me in the palm of my hand. Wire was visible on its Could not have passed inspection as it was not acceptable.
Due to the rust on the metal of the dryer vent, I've had to replace it three times since 2006. This dryer is in Hawaii, which is very humid, so you wouldn't expect the vent to rust there. I'm happy to hear the metal mesh is no longer.
The part fits perfectly. It is easy to install. I like how it works.

There was a flat lint trap in the box. It fits fine after careful bending and shaping the wire mesh into shape. However, it remains fragile and will probably get crushed after opening and resealing. I would suggest packaging it in a box to prevent it from getting too damaged.
