Look up "8 inch range top" in the search engine. If that doesn't work, there's a Whirlpool Stove 8-incher on Amazon. 9761345 / 8053268 inch Surface Burner Elementbr>Hope this helps.
It's essentially an electrical coil with no wattage to speak of; all you need to know is if it fits and how many coils it has; some have more coils spun within a 6" coil than others. Type that plugs in
not sure
Two 8" and two 6" elements are found on the majority of cooktop stoves. If you need to replace six inches, you should purchase six inches. I never take measurements; instead, I order what I want and try it on to see if it fits. The majority of the elements are common. But what you get is worth the price you pay.

My Tappan range is now back to normal, and the pans are level on the element once more, unlike the elements I purchased from hardware stores that did not say Tappan on the packaging. This was a wise investment. It was also delivered on schedule.
I looked on Amazon a few months ago and only found one burner for three times the price, and I wasn't sure if it would fit. So I called the appliance repair company, but they couldn't find a replacement part that was exactly the same. I was supposed to bring in an old burner and then place a special order, but that was also going to be very expensive, so I never did. My third burner then went out, probably due to the fact that I cook everything on high, and I was left with only one. Then I came across this. br>br> They are reasonably priced, I received free shipping, they arrived in less than a week, and they function properly. One point to consider: Remove the white sticky from the burner's center. I initially mistook it for a decoration, but it actually sets fire to itself.
Does exactly what a surface element should do; everything works flawlessly; simply match the part number to the appliance for compatibility, and you should be fine, as I was.
Wow! What a difference, it's as if you bought a new stove. The other three will have to be replaced now. You had to turn up the heat on my old burner to get it to work. I'm going to be able to cook on medium heat once more. They were compatible with my Tappan stove, but I had to replace my old drip pans first.
Furthermore, the cost is reasonable. It was a perfect fit for our old stove and performs admirably. There's no point in wasting time with a bad fit. The quality will be determined over time, but I don't anticipate any unpleasant surprises.
