This burner valve is the same as the Whirlpool W10206287/88 burner valve, but at a fraction of the cost!.
This is a perfect match! This valve appears to fit a variety of ranges, and it worked perfectly for my KitchenAid. The "OEM" parts house wanted a hundred dollars each, so it saved me a lot of money. br>The rubber O-ring is included in the saddle portion. ring and the fuel manifold went together without a hitch. The burner's outlet was 1/4" compression, and it was a perfect fit as well. The diameter and length of the knob stems were the same. The appliance has been repaired!.
I'm glad this came up in the search results because, like many others, I couldn't afford the $80 or $125 parts that were officially matched to my Kitchenaid model using whirlpool parts. Four of the five burners were defective. In fact, I don't want to reinstall the same part that broke so badly the first time. These have the same exterior shape and markings (except for one), but one important feature may be different. The parts are from the same manufacturer, but they are not the same. Even if they fit in the same spot as the old one, the inside of the new one may have a different gas flow. A number "0" is embossed on the side by the letters CP. (The side that says MEX 1/2 psi is on the opposite side. ) My stove had a 0 1, 4 combination. There are six burners in total, each with its own temperature. I believe the previous owners messed up my burners because when I turned it down low, some of them blew out. Before I fixed it, it was extremely dangerous. Through the range of high to low settings, the higher flow on this valve appears to help my burner adjust better to the intended flame size. So there's a big difference between this valve and what's in your stove or what's recommended as a replacement part! Many of these don't even have it in their pictures or part descriptions. br>I'm so glad I was able to fix my stove for $80 instead of the $500 official parts. People, just stay safe, smart, and aware of your options.
br>Same quality, same size; I'll buy from them again.
Whirlpool valve parts (All Red Stemmed Valves - KitchenAid 5 Burner) were used in my KitchenAid (5 Burner). This purchase/valve was an exact fit (with Purple Stem - high PSI) and this purchase/valve was an exact fit (with Purple Stem - high PSI). That is not shown in the picture, but that is how it arrived). br>br>At the time, I had temporarily switched the burner valves to ensure the larger burners were working, as they are used more frequently than the smaller burners. br>br>Worked perfectly after installing the Purple Valve on the smaller burner in case it had a lower PSI than the Red Stem.
This was purchased to replace the burners on my GE gas stove. My previous gas valves were bent to a 45-degree angle away from their original center alignment. I contacted GE, and they provided me with a quote of $129 per gas valve, which included diagnosis and labor (but not the cost of the parts). So, with the help of a friend, I decided to do it myself and found a great video on YouTube that showed me how to dismantle and repair this piece from beginning to end. It's not a difficult replacement, but be cautious of the gas pipes inside the stove top when disconnecting the valves (this is where you'll need a helping hand). We finished the job by installing four new valves on four of my burners in one day. Back in action for a maximum of 5 hours. It works great and produces a better flame than before, as well as a shorter cooking time, and it's a perfect match for my GE gas stove. Money and time were saved as a result of this.
When I purchased this, I was a little hesitant because other "official" Kitchenaid burner valves were selling for $70 - $80. $90. It was, however, the same exact part, and the installation was simple and effective. This was to replace an old burner valve that had stopped working.
This product is identical to those sold by Whirlpool and KitchenAid, and I installed it in my KitchenAid double cooker. If you don't know what you're doing, you could end up causing a lot of harm or even death. So find someone who knows what they're talking about. Thank you, GE, for letting me know that I'm worth money.
