A lot of coffee grounds can be held in the mesh. Fine grind is the only grind I use and this hasn't caused any issues for me.
I've used 1-node for quite some time now For the past three and a half weeks, I have been doing this twice a day. After start making a pot of coffee, I noticed the bottom of the plastic base was cracked along three lines radiating out from the center, seeing in the picture below. That, is, would have We drank our coffee right to the last drop. I hate you. I asked the seller, Teklectric (TM) Kitchen and Home, for an exchange a week ago, but have heard nothing back from them at all. The price includes three and a half weeks of service. A 75 dollar price tag is a huge rip off! No matter how much you pay for Prime. It is also a disgrace that this seller provides LOUSY customer service- I have been working on Teklectric (TM) Kitchen and Home for a while now. It's time for paper filters again. **THIS IS A LOUSY PRODUCT SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! IT IS EQUALLY LOUSY.
I was able to use it with my Blackberry An affordable coffee maker from Black + Decker. In the ad I saw Mr Coffee mentioned, so I took a chance and this filter went right into place like it had been made for me. I am very satisfied with my.
Over ten years have passed since I last replaced my permanent filter. If this one lasts, he will be a very lucky man. As you can see, the handle has already broken off, and the plug does not fit my coffee maker very well, so I have to squeeze it into Despite its solid foundation, it is already starting to bow and lose its vertical strength. It is not screen material at the bottom of the filter, as I believed it to be.
So to go straight to the point, I am just disappointed. I should note Is worth its weight in gold.
I bought this since I had one of these with our old coffee maker, but we switched to using paper filters for a while. I wanted to go back to reusable filters, so I purchased this. The solid base of the drain means it does not drain as quickly as it should. A lot of grounds ended up in our coffee when the filter was full, as they floated over and around. You might want to purchase one with a mesh bottom to (at least hopefully) alleviate this problem. I found that doing just 4 scoops of coffee seemed to help, but our usual dose is five scoops (that doesn't even fill the filter halfway, so we aren't overfilling our filters! If you usually make weaker or smaller pots of coffee, perhaps this option will work for you.
When I received this filter, I was a little surprised at how effective it was. Gold reusable filters are similar to those I've had in the past. Both sides were mesh (just like the bottom). My initial apprehension was that I wouldn't be able to tell if it would affect the taste of my coffee since the new filter is designed differently. After using it a few times, the coffee tastes very good to me now. Unlike my previous filters, cleaning this one is much easier. My recommendation for this coffee filter would be yes.
To compost the coffee grounds, I simply dump them into my bucket, followed by a rinse. Initially, I wasn't sure about the solid bottom instead of the micro screen, but now I realize it's a good feature, since the water must pass through more grounds in order to reach The filter does a good job and I'm generally satisfied with it. You will get a little silt in the pot when using a microscreen, but that is the price you pay. As a result, you will get more oil from the bean, which will enhance the flavor of your coffee. There is no doubt that it is.
