There is no doubt that this probe is solid. depth numbers are printed on the tubes, but immediately began peeling off after a short period. Honestly, it's not that big of an issue, but it causes.

The probe is of poor quality

There is no safety feature on this probe. It is not durable enough to go through snow without bending or falling apart (I have tested In the end, I had to return for The goal is to save you, but this will fail to accomplish that.

I feel that the value is good

There's nothing particularly spectacular about this probe, but it appears sturdy enough. Having not used it in deep snow, I cannot attest to its effectiveness.
