This cooker performed admirably and worked well with my Igrill when we cooked an early Thanksgiving turkey. I am impressed with the response time, and I'm hoping the durability will be better, too, because my older probe had to be replaced a short while after purchase. There is one thing I would like to suggest. It's best to keep the silicone grip on a probe that was replaced with one that had a silicone grip placed on it like the Igrill probes. It's as simple as sliding the grill over the probe and down the wire. Hopefully this will extend its life since my previous probe died because I think that's what caused it.
They have been very accurate and durable for several cooks that I have used them on. There will be no doubt that I will purchase another in the near future for my other grill ports.
It was a good deal to buy three Though they have the potential to be much more effective than the original probes, they are also Una of the three that I picked up has failed without any obvious explanation.
My probe hasn't connected to my grill mini after five months. It appears to be in perfect condition to the eye, but it won't connect.
Thousands of times have been spent in my smoker, and dozens of hours have been spent using it. The time has come to get a new one. The cookies lasted a long time, which I didn't expect. In the original review (December I tested the two right away after pulling them out of the box (3), though I have not yet used them to cook with. As a first step, I hung the samples in an empty cup with two iGrill minis, along with another iGrill mini equipped with the default probe (a brand Afterward, I poured boiling water into the cup to see how quickly a probe can reach the temperature, as the iGrill probe took nearly 15 seconds to reach the heat (*200 degrees), while these reached the heat in about three The temperature of all the objects was the same after only 20 seconds. Following the graph of the temperature drops and monitoring them as they dropped, I kept an eye on them. In both cases, the drop was at the same rate for all and all were within 1 degree of each other. It's hard for me to find anything wrong with these.
We've tested this product, but it doesn't There is a slight variation in the temperature reading. There are 75 degrees outside.
I want my money back since this product is such a waste.
I use this with my igrill and it works great!.
