Why are there two options for 12 ft and "one size," but both say 12 ft?

I'm not sure why they list them as one size, but 12' is plenty long for one SUP board; when I stack two, I need longer straps. A single 20' strap is available for purchase. The straps are sold in pairs and measure 12' in length.

I'm curious about the width of the webbing. ?

1 inch. They perform admirably and are simple to operate. They were perfect for securing my 12 foot paddle board for over 1,000 miles.

How do you use the tie down straps to secure your board?

Your vehicle must first be equipped with a roof rack. The strap goes across the top of the board, around the bottom of the far side of the vehicle's roof rack cross bar, back across the top of the board, under the near side's cross bar, and through the cam. If the strap flutters when you put the end into the cam, twist it before putting it in.

The straps are fine, and the locking mechanisms are fine as well; however, they are a little pricey for what you get. The previous DaKine straps I bought were of much higher quality and had padding around the locking area; these don't, so you'll have to be extra careful with positioning. I would have chosen a less expensive option if I had known about it beforehand.
