Questions & Answers

Will these fit a 2013 Subaru Impreza Sport or a 2014 Subaru Impreza Sport? I'm not sure what the fit guide is all about. ?

Unless your crossbars are extremely thin, it should fit any crossbar. My issue was that the crossbars on my ski racks were not adjustable, and they were too close together. The bindings were too big to fit between the two. I had to mount the rack to the side rails and turn the skis sideways in the end. The ski rack, not the installers of my car's crossbars, were to blame for this.

Is this compatible with a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe?

Good morning, it depends on you crops bars if you set those in a Toyota Highlander 2008 in a type of bars I purchased the thickness of those is approx. 1 1/2" long by 1" wide by 1" tall. The only issue I had was with the screws, which I had to paint because they were prone to rusting. br>I hope this has been of assistance to you.

Is this going to fit in a 2019 Chevy Traverse?

The clamps that attach to the vehicle's crossbars can accommodate a wide range of bar sizes. I can not say if 100% they will fit but I believe they will.

We have a 1999 Toyota 4Runner that already has racks on the roof. Is there any way to tell if these will fit on the current rack?

They worked fine for me on a 2017 Jeep Cherokee with crossbar roof racks, and I believe they will work for you as well.

It almost fits two snowboards, but there is plenty of room for skis
4/5

When it's cold outside, locks stick. SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS: Only two full-size snowboards, as well as skis or other small items, will fit in this bag. Three adult snowboards will not fit in this bag. br>We use it to fit two adult snowboards and a toddler snowboard, and it works fine for that, but we don't have room for any more boards, so we can't bring both powder and park boards, or friends unless they only ski. br>HOW TO INSTALL: It was a pain to set up, but it wasn't difficult. a lot of repetitions positioning and tightening screws, but it worked perfectly on a vintage Yakima Q- The system of towers br>LOCKS: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the It has a lock. There are no separate locks to buy like you would with a factory Yakima system. Unfortunately, when the locks become frozen or the weather becomes extremely cold, the locks can become stuck, and the keys are of poor quality and easily bend. br>FINAL SUMMARY: In general, this was a fantastic purchase. After four years of use, our Yakima factory rack broke, and it would have cost four times as much to replace it. To replace, you'll need five times the amount. This was a good deal at $80, and we like it a lot. As long as there aren't more than two adult snowboarders, I would recommend it!.

Nice Ski Racks at a Good Price! We've taken two trips with these ski racks and they're great! Despite the negative reviews, we decided to order them anyway
4/5

I'm not sure what's bothering everyone. These are your basic, long-lasting ski racks. They are excellent at what they do! (1) Holds three (3) 4 pairs of skis (2) snugly closes and secures skis (3) love the red release tabs for easy ground level operation (4) sub-zero temperatures The locks opened and closed without a hitch, even in sub-zero temperatures. Yes, WD- (4) Easy to mount on ski rails, clamps rack tight (6) NO wind whistling noises at high speeds (7) Perfect shorter width NOW, here's what the racks DON'T include, which is a must in my opinion: 8 Hex Locking Nuts for the underside of each mounting clamp (normal non-locking hex nut). 8 surface washers for added support on top of each clamp / 8 rubber caps to cover bolt ends (locking nuts are included). Rust? Yes, all ski racks rust over time, but rust-resistant coatings can be applied to those areas. Five stars out of ten. These ski racks are a winner if you're looking for a low-cost option that does the job.

The purchase was excellent
5/5

I usually wait a few months before writing a review, but I'm writing this one right after it's been installed. The ski rack is designed to fit an Infiniti QX50. This is a standard rack, so the installation was simple. When installed on a full-size vehicle, it does not slide out from the base to allow access to your skis. It'll fit in a small SUV or car perfectly. In the rack, I stowed a snowboard and two pairs of skis. When I removed the skis from the vehicle's side, the whole thing began to rock. The ski rack has a lot of weight on it. There is a fixed lock on the door. However, removable locks are only available on more expensive brands. They are much more expensive, and because I ski about 100 days a year and don't have time to switch ski racks on vehicles, each vehicle has its own ski rack. This rack appears to be the perfect fit for my QX50. In December, I'll post a new update.

My car was damaged because the installation went wrong
3/5

Using low-cost plastic caused the installation to fail completely. When I tightened one of the screws, the thin plastic on top snapped, and the bolt slammed into the roof of my car, causing a large dent and removing paint. I'm getting a replacement, but I doubt my fears of any of the bolts or plastic snapping will go away. br>br>Also, they whistle at 40mph, but it's not noticeable in my Jeep unless the windows are down. br>br>As other reviewers have mentioned, getting skiis locked in is difficult, but I didn't mind. Despite having to improvise a fix for the broken part, they did feel "secure. ".

Fits Dodge Stow and Go Bars and is reasonably priced
4/5

It's a heavy duty rack that weighs a lot more than you'd expect. Without consulting the instructions, installation was fairly simple. They fit perfectly on my factory storable 2014 Dodge Durango cross bars and appear to be capable of accommodating a wide range of cross bar sizes. There are a couple of things that I don't like about it: One of them won't close, so I have to keep them locked almost all of the time. This isn't a big deal, but I'm concerned about the latches' long-term durability. It's also higher than I expected on the car. My garage door is probably average height, and I have about an inch of clearance with the rack itself, and the bindings brush against the door edge when I have skis in it. Aside from that, the price is significantly lower than many other options, so I'm satisfied.

Before I left for my ski trip, everything appeared to be in working order
3/5

This past weekend, I tried out this product for the first time. Before I left for my ski trip, everything appeared to be in working order. By the time I arrived at the ski area, both latch mechanisms had become stuck, and I was unable to remove my skis from the rack. The lock cylinders appeared to be functional, but the latches refused to open. To get my skis back, I had to destroy the latch mechanism on the aft rack; otherwise, I would have had to rent skis. The temperature at the ski resort was 30 degrees Fahrenheit, which was not particularly cold for skiing. When I got home and into my warm garage, the front latch was still broken and I couldn't open it. It is strongly advised that you do not purchase this product.

For the price, it's a great product that perfectly suits my needs
5/5

These are only required for two months per year. These are well-made and sturdy, holding 3 to 4 pairs of skis comfortably. The locking mechanism should be handled with caution. Make sure you lock the top rail after pushing down on it. Try turning the key again if it won't turn. If you push the top rail down far enough, they will lock perfectly. I sprayed some WD-40 on the area in question. 40 into the keyhole, and they lock perfectly every time. These were installed on top of my 2018 Volkswagen Atlas.

Good product, but it would be nice if the screws were included
4/5

Good product; however, since many people will want to remove the racks from the crossbars between ski trips (for car washes, etc. ), it would be nice if the screws that attach the racks to the crossbars were twist off screws for easier removal. I intend to replace existing hex set screws with large plastic twist knobs that will allow them to be securely fastened but easily removed without the use of a hex wrench. However, they are effective.
