This is a great winter jacket for the snow

Those living in the north will find this jacket useful in the winter. I needed a coat that could protect my little girl from the cold. We can experience temperatures as low as 40 below zero here in the wintertime. As she loves to play in the snow, she has to stay dry as well. The windproofing and waterproofing of this jacket makes it an excellent choice. My daughter is very warm with this!.

As it hasn't been too cold here yet, we are not able to gauge the amount of warmth for winter that we should expect. The jacket, however, has so far been great. There is no problem with the fit. It is so soft and cozy inside. A great feature of the hood is its ability to be removed. There are zipper pockets on the side of your coat (the coat we bought for my other daughter did not have these). There is a fantastic zipper pocket near the outer breast on the upper portion of the garment as well. The mask fits inside perfectly and it's a great place for her to keep it during recess (sad to see that happening). Despite the fact that it is a beautiful coat and she loves it, I hope that it will last her two seasons.

I like the warmth and function of it

I got this for my 6 year old, and she loved it even though it was My help was not needed to get her situated since it was easy enough for her to zip on. The weather was mild 25-31 degrees that day, so I spent the day skiing and playing in the snow. It fit great and went well in 40 degree weather, but was too warm during the sunny parts of the day to keep it zippered. There are plenty of pockets to store snacks, and they are also large enough to hold gloves and a hat when they are not being worn. It turns out the jacket was also used as a blanket on the way home due to its fuzzy hood interior.

Coat is great for cold weather, however, the hood continually unzips

It is a beautiful coat except for the hood that constantly comes unzipped when she puts on and takes off the coat. To prevent it from falling off, I simply have my granddaughter wear a hat. There is a hood that is large and opens to all kinds of weather. The good news is that this coat is very warm. I did go up one size based on feedback from my granddaughter, and the coat fits perfectly, even though my granddaughter no longer shivers while walking to school. It also has great style as well as being durable. My order was delivered so fast. I will purchase this again, just would have to find a great hat to go The hood needs improvement, so that's why it's 4 stars.
